Your worst Celtic team?

Think they must have assumed it meant worst out of the current squad. I only twigged just now as if that was the worst in history it wouldn't be correct and I don't think that is what they mean.

Price was taken into account with a few of those, Pressley is in there ahead of Glenda and Virgo because I cannot stand the man at all, a horrible, dirty hun * who should never have blighted the hoops - he was a right dirty * at Hearts, used to boot everyone all over the shop.

Was Annoni not away from Celtic by the time Tebily had signed?

 

What has Conroy done to deserve this? Don't think he's ever been near the first team.

Aye your right mate, am seriously starting doubt myself in your opinion was Annoni a good player I've got it in my mind from somewhere that he was so bad that we started cheering him and actually came unto a wee bit of a game, also theres a quote on wiki "Annoni is the subject of an anecdote whereby, in a match where Celtic were performing poorly and Annoni had just been brought on as a substitute, a fan is supposed to have exclaimed "Aw naw, no Annoni on an aw noo!" (Oh no, not Annoni on as well now!)" so I cant be the only one thinking this?

 

Remember they brought Regi Blinker on as a sub at Ipox and all the huns started to cheer and the daft * did'nt know what was going on.

Exactly the kind of thing I was going with in this thread, remembering things like that puts a wee smile on yer face plus give you something different to do till the next game.

 

Spot on bhoy, annoni was a class player who could and would play in any defensive position. Also don't know howyou can include Juninho in the worst ever team, in all honesty I don't think wee O'Neil gave him a fair crack of the whip, remember his debut against the huns, he won man of the match and ran the game from start to finish

 

In all honesty team mate my worst team was made up in a hurry and there were a couple I'd probably change but Annoni is starting to get me paranoid am still pretty sure he was so bad that we started cheering him I've said already maybe am wrong but as for Juninho came to Celtic with all this promise and this superstar mentality just didn't do for me (maybe because he was played out of position) wasn't the worst but one of my biggest disapointments him and Gravesen, anyway where's your team, Its pretty hard when you get started by the way.

Players like Sylla and Flood I felt tried their best but were not of the required standard. I also seem to remember Virgo playing up front a couple of times and looking very poor. Didn't include Jarosik and Juninho as they were unlucky in the sense that I felt they were played out of position with Jiri in particular playing in various positions other than in the middle.

Rogan in your worst team mate, get tae * he was a mainstay in the centenary season and for a few seasons afterwards... even played in a FA Cup final aswell...
