My wife and I were driving along London Road, just passing Paradise, when we got held up at the lights. There was a lenthy queue of traffic, so we stopped directly in front of Paradise. Then my wife points to the grass at the Emirites Arena. About 12 Carrion Crows were attacking, and when I say attacking, I mean ATTACKING, Another Carrion Crow. It was brutal to watch. Thankfully the traffic didn't move that much, so we could see all this happening right outside our car. By the time we finally moved, the Crow was about dead.
    Nature is cruel.

That looks like a big rook? The starlings look young and they seem to have curved rounded heads. A good photo of the Widgeon ducks......there's hundreds of them here and seem to have been around all winter. With those photos you could be in my back yard :56:We have all the usual suspects. Widgeon, Mallards, Eiders, Shelducks, all manner of dippers and the Oyster Catchers. The smaller hedgerow birds are starting to surface as I saw a lot of very young birds...you know the ones with no sense who sit and look at you :56:

Dunno what it is about that rock but you seen a seal on it quite often and it's always a loner.
