That Depeche Mode when we score!!
What is everybody's Top 10 Wild Animals and Birds you have seen in 2020?? Here are my top 10 of this Crazy Year in know order,as they are all Brilliant.

Golden Eagle Got quite good views of one flying away from me right at the start of the year in the Highlands.

Crested * Saw several together in a Cool Forest also in the Highlands before the year went pear shaped.

Badger Me my nephew Ruby Roo and his dog Basil were sat on some rocks on our local patch when we heard a kind of gallop,at first we though a loan young sheep, but it was a huge Boar Badger that swifthy went right past looking back at us the once.My nephew's first ever Badger sighting. This was on the last day of July at 7.30am.

Weasel I saw a Mother an 3 almost full grown Kits run across a road on my local patch

Stoat I got a cracking close up of one in my local woods,it stopped briefly and looked me the eye

Common Seal They are very rare on the North Wales coast unlike the larger Common Grey Seals, and Ruby Roo found one and wanted to play Bally with her:biggrin:

Ring Ouzel One of my very favourite birds,so i pleased to see the only one of the year for me passing through my local patch in early Spring.

Hobby On a brilliant early morning walk with Ruby Roo on the way back home through the local Farmland this Superb Falcon flew right past me!

Marsh Harrier A fine female passed over my local patch back in the Spring

Firecrest 2020 has been my best ever year for this stunning wee bird, with brilliant close up multiple sightings in late Autumn early winter in my local Woods.

Tamuchy :50: It weighs a tonne :52: and it's not ideal weather conditions for setting up the tripod. I'm getting to grips with it though. In some ways I found my wee Canon camera better. It took photos quicker and the clarity seemed better but maybe as I come to grips with the features of the new one I will overcome these things.

Practice is the key Jeannie, and a wee swatch at the instruction book every now and again, trying to understand how all the different functions and buttons work together can be quite intimidating but a wee bit of patience goes a long way, you tube tutorials are also a great way of learning the ins and outs of even the most basic modes, Spring is coming soon Jeannie and we'll all be able to get out and about a bit more to capture the beautiful wildlife and scenery again.

I'm looking forward to parking up with the tripod and sitting it out waiting for things to come to me :56: As it is the poor wee birds look frozen and it's a miracle that they find enough food to survive the winter. I'm going to buy a wee rucksack out of Argos when it reopens. I saw one for just under £50 and I have some gift cards to use. Assuming I can use them. One4all gift cards I have found to be a nightmare to try and spend :54: They tell you everywhere takes them until you try to actually use them :43:

It's probably because of where I live but, the only wildlife I ever see are crows, seagulls, pigeons, squirrels, cats & dogs. I am a wee bit jealous of those people who are lucky enough to be surrounded by nature and see things that I would only be able to see on a David Attenborough program
