That Depeche Mode when we score!!
With all the cracking action going on of late in this Ultra Cool Thread I forgot to post my latest sightings:56:
Yesterday I got a Male winter plumages Reed Bunting on my local Beach. Then in late afternoon I saw the local Male Peregrine patrol and stoop. Also 2 of the local Chough flew past me with their cool call.
Today I have seen 4 different Sparrowhawks in my area.
Oh of course Ruby Roo was my usual partner in crime. :84:

I know I'm guilty of forgetting the wildlife part, but there are gorse bushes in this

14th hole this afternoon and the famous Spectacles bunkers, had just been soaked in a downpour that lasted about 4 holes, so this cheered us up

This happened a few months ago, but I saw a live badger for the first time in my life while out walking the dog. Had only ever seen them in person as roadkill before so I was pretty chuffed to see a living one. Cute as *.

Taking Caroline to get her flu-jab yesterday and on the way home we stopped at traffic lights. Caroline noticed a young Carrion Crow acting strangely. It was sqwawking at the top of his voice at a Magpie stealing it's food. The Crow was all puffed up and making one * of a noise but the Magpie wasn't taking any notice at all. While we were watching this superb scene, we missed the green light. The driver behind us wasn't too happy.
Also saw about 15 Long-Tailed * on the wire just outside my home when we got home.
And last night, Caroline was out doing some star gazing again, when she rushed in, all excited and asked me to come out to see something. Looking through her scope, we could see SATURN. Absolutely brilliant to see. It was small, but you could see the planet and it's rings. Also saw Mars and Jupiter again.

I’ve never seen a badger and only had a fleeting glimpse of a Fox a couple of times, that’s a great sighting Albian.

I never thought I had any major interest in the night sky, other than my obsession with UFOs, but thanks to Caroline, I realise it's great to look at whats right above you.
And ,believe it or not, in the last two weeks, we've seen 3/4 strange lights in the sky. Not saying they were 100% UFOs but they weren't planes or helicopters.

Pretty quiet on my local patch on a big Sunday walki with Ruby Roo mid morning to early afternoon. Plenty of Jays gathering acorns and a loan late Wheatear passed through.
Conditions for a scarce or rare migrant looks good from the middle of next week for a few days. Hopefully my luck will be back in as it has been a great Autumn for rarities.
