I remember the Stirling Albion game a few months back, I was on the train on the way to the game, and at Partick a man in a Celtic scarf got on with a boy of about 2 or 3 wearing a scarf that went down to his knees and the coolest Celtic wellies. This kid was literally tiny, his feet didnt reach the end of the train seat. I know it sounds weird but it was kinda cute lol....
I was sitting smiling at the kid... and he was like "going see ball"
His da was sound an all....

So yea, your never to young...

worst case scenario he gets a bit scared ( then he'll never get scared again)
best case scenario he loves it

    win win situation

Its decided then fellas, despite what "The She * from *" says the wee mans on his way to see the Hoops. Hes quite outgoing and stuff with people, and he likes to watch folk doing mad shouting and stuff, plus it'll probably be as flat as * on the night.

I reckon hes probably just a wee bit too young, but like you say, whats the worst that can happen?? He'll brick it, and i'll take him home sharp.

i was 4years old when my da and older brother took me to my first game ,went o phil coles bus were my da was a regular, and i got handed a tammy to go round the bus for the sweep,i got no7 home jimmy johnstone ,so we went into parkhead and it was the jungle, me and my brother went to the front and sat on the old white wall, it was clyde celtic were playing and when the teams took up there positions jinky came over to the wing ,the game started and later the ball went out for a shy and the ball wasnt that far away from me ,i kicked back over and wee jimmy give me a pat on the head ,i think celtic won 3-1 and jimmy scored first so i also won the sweep ill never forget that day and my dad for taking me ,one of the best days of my childhood ,so take your boy to the games and he could be telling a story like that in 40 years, that was in 1969 magic

To be honest I never really considered the fact that with kids today there are so many other things they do as a pose to when I grew up it was either play footy, out on yer bike or just roaming round the estate looking for something to do. Now they're all hooked up to Playstations and friggin' Xboxes etc etc. Christ I couldn't handle my kids being in the house all the time. I won't buy them any of those games cos I just think they're too young and it's better for them being outside playing, as kids should be doing. Can any of you 70's or 80's kids imagine being sat on your * in the house hour after hour playing computer games...no way, soon as school was done it was home, dump the bag, grab a jam piece and the football and back out the door again. When it was dark we came home, ate, had a quick wash and crashed out :50:

My, my haven't a lot of people changed their tune. The "atmosphere" thread is full of comments about "too many children and women" - now it's "aye take the kid."
    Be consistent fellas.

Not too old - I took my wee bhoy to CP when we played Arsenal pre season a few years ago (went with my mate too). He was 4 at the time and had everyone around us in stitches when he stood up and starting shouting "BOBOS GONNA GET YOU"!! Class.
