Yeah i agree, that the rivalry doesnt seem as fierce as it was even just a few years ago, that could be down to watching the players on the park tho. just a few years ago we had, Lennon, Lambert, Sutton, Hartson, Petrov, Thomson, even jackie mac who gave it there all and fought for everything, especialy when we played the huns, but now theres only maybe 1 or 2 who i reckon fight in the same way the guys above did.

 

I'd run to the Hun bench, lift my top to reveal a T shirt with the legend, "We've got the players at Ibrox" over an image of John Greig picking his nose.

The "We've got the players" thingy used to be the mantra repeated over and over when things went wrong under White, Waddell, Wallace & Greig, usually before yet another big money transfer.
