    Its just one of those questioms that is always asked, and I dont really know what my first game was.

    1969 Celtic 4 - 0 Animals, Scottish Cup final. I remember Billy McNeill scoring very early in the game and Celtic being 3 up at half time. Also remember Alex Ferguson headbutting Bobby Murdoch ! Celtic reached a peak the following year humbling Leeds Utd home and away in the European Cup........ happy days.

    Think it was back in the early 70's home v Clyde - the main stand was being built at the time but canna mind the score, was only a kid.

    Can mind the bus leavin the CSC at the time, me with ma wooly tammy on with "Tommy Gemmell" knitted into the front, big bottle of juice and bag of crisps. Happy days.

    Mine was fir park tOO. I remember it was 1-0 to Celtic and Mick McArthy ran past me and stuck his tongue out at me =)

    That was ma first Celtic match

    First non Celtic match was Scotland v Saudi Arabia in the 1989 u16 world cup final. Scotia went 2-0 up but it finished 2-2 and the Saudi team (6 of which had mustaches) won on penalties.

    my first was 1972 at the old broomfield am sure we lost 2-1 the one a can really remember was the 1975 scottish cup final v airdrie we won 3-1 paul wilson scored twice and billy mcneil retired a was 8 years old :icon_mrgreen:

    6th September 2000. CIS Cup. Celtic vs Raith

    Two goals from Tommy Johnson, a debut effort from Alan Thompson and another opportunist strike from Chris Sutton propelled Celtic into the quarter-finals of the competition on a night when the Glasgow side chose to squash the opposition rather than ouotfox them

    just asked my old fella what my first game was and he informs me it was away to partick in 1974,we won 2-1,i was 6:50:

    btw he cant remember the scorers,if anyone could tell me or could find out for me it would be greatly appreciated:shamrock:
