The point ur still missing is the ball should have been played forward instead of sideways and a player of Mcgregor's experience should have been wise enough to know playing the ball to a player in that position that had been constantly giving the ball away for 20 mins was the wrong pass on the 1st place.

 

Looked decent against a pish Dundee side and has had a couple of not too bad cameos off the bench but was poor last week and awful today.

Suppose it's the type of inconsistency you are gonna get with this type of player. Goes back to original decision to recruit yet another project over a ready made player.
