But I agree overall that it's harsh to write Beck off based on that.

 

He’s picked a great time to start hitting form … loved everything about his performance tonight, he was honestly sensational.

 

I don't think it cones down to how he played for the rest of the season, he's already shown his talent since the start of the season including good performances against us. You g guy like that is gonna have dps and bad games, that won't and shouldn't impact whether we think we can bring him in and develop him into a top player I don't think.

Reckon we've done a lot of homework on him and are dead set on making him a priority in the summer tbh.

 

Would be ridiculous to totally discount his performances for the rest of the season and we won’t. Today is a black mark against his name, 100%.

 

Know what you mean regards Maeda, but that night the boy was immense...rapid and mature as * for his age. He's showed more than enough this year to justify a move here.

 

If Owen Beck is our Summer priority, that stadium will be burnt to the ground come September.

 

Young wingers will always be inconsistent, he’s coming into great form at the perfect time for us.

The signs were there before like the Aberdeen game and a few sub appearances but tonight was the most complete performance he’s had.

 

Course you don't totally discount it, just saying he's proven he has big potential which will count for a lot more than a loss of form/confidence.

 

He's actually quite dynamic. Puts in a shift and tricky to predict if he's going to cut in or go to the byeline. I think he can keep possession fairly well aswell when he drops deeper. Young guy but interesting potential.

 

Actually buzzing already for the next game to HOPEFULLY see him keep up his current form. One big performance against the junkies and he will be absolutely flying for the run in. Everything starting to fall into place

Quality tonight. Get him on the right Palma left and the amount of goals they will create and score will be unreal.

 

It's fair to say that he has developed in his time here, that was a really good performance.

 

He tortured Beck tonight and I think he's one of the better lbs in the league.
Works really hard and is pretty brave and full of trickery, think he's got some work to do with his end product and decision making, he holds on to the ball too long sometimes for me but he's young and that will come.
Keep it up.

Yang was excellent, still needs to brush up his crossing as it is very poor, his cutbacks tonight were very good mind you, not sure how accurate they actually were but in the danger areas and that's the main thing.

 

Quite clear he can run with a ball and beat guys for fun but so could Mikey Johnston. Still want to see more end product from him, maybe crossing more first time when he has space, he seems to twist and turn guys back and forth a wee bit too much before releasing a ball when he doesn't need to. Same when shooting, he cuts in could shoot, drags the ball again, dummies does it again etc

He is promising though.

 

He's made the single biggest to our performances over the last 2 games.

Still can't quite get how he's suddenly discovered how to cross a ball and go down to the line so well. Asian Cup has done us a big favour.
