Agree with most of what you say here, but they only need to outmuscle us this season and regardless, they should not be our barometer definitely need to add a bit of strength and experience, need the correct balance between youth/projects and experience.. especially to make an impact in Europe.

Transfer fee doesn't come into it for me either, we could get Tete on a free for example.. but money may need to be spent on...

Yang did not choose to go through with his military service yet- the CDM on the other hand, did.

 

Agree on pushing the boat out, if the right players are available. Clubs in Europe may look at the Jota deal, and think they could also make money in selling to us.

Again, them signing these 6ft+ players could backfire on them, as our high energy press destroyed their tactics in the games that mattered last season.

Not looking too much into his last season as Gangwon have been dire. Can barely string the passes together to get any of their frontmen on the ball. Their pitch is a tattie field aswell.

They are so bad they've only won 2 games, their top scorer has only 3 goals in 18 and the team overall have scored 14 in 23.

His output will hopefully bounce back up here and the pitch will be more conducive to his style of play.

 

I'll be honest, with Ange gone I'd rather see us look to other markets, but it is what it is. 21 years old, not much of a replacement for Jota on paper but maybe it'll work out.

YANG HYUN-JUN has been backed to emulate Son Heung-min — and become South Korea’s next superstar.

Gangwon FC chief executive Kim Byung-ji yesterday confirmed the 21-year-old has agreed to join Celtic in a £2.1million deal.


Winger Yang is set to pen a long-term contract, with Kim adamant he can follow in the footsteps of Spurs attacker Son.

He said: “We have let Yang leave to support his football future and dreams. When I look at Son Heung-min and other players, I see how much hope and joy they give to the people of Korea.

“I want Yang to do the same. I want him to help the development and status of football in our country.

“To be honest, I don’t want to let him go. I hate sending him away from our club.




But the stories are true. He is transferring to Celtic and I hope he does well.
