He was absolutely fantastic when he came on, completely changed the game.

As others have said, there's 100% a player there, he's very inconsistent bit he's still young.

No reason Kuhn starts over him next game.

 

Hes our best winger right now mate. One of the few able to breeze past his man 1v1 and open up space.

Said it before but he needs to form an understanding with the strikers. He gets in good positions but he is unpredictable.

 

I still don't think he's the long term answer for us. Or the first team answer for us.

Ultimately, we are using him because Maeda, Kuhn, Palma have all been so inconsistent and so poor... none of our wingers have really went on a really good run.

 

He's looked a different player since he came back from the Asian cup.

 

He has to start ahead of Kuhn and Maeda for me. He's inconsistent but atleast he's not consistently bad like the others so far

 

Starting to really show his qualities. He was average enough today but even that is drastically contrasted to Kuhn’s contribution. He starts next game no question.

 

Starts next game for me … he actually beat his man and got balls in to the box quickly … something none of our wingers seem to be capable of

 

Liked him all season, although he needs to clean up his inconsistency

Yang's best performances seem to come away from home and generally from off the bench. The one exception at home was the 6-0 v Aberdeen, back in November.

After today though, he deserves another crack at starting. Brought on so muhc positivity when he came on, providing creativity and carried a threat, sparked so mych down the right and AJ seemed to come to life as well. Total chalk and cheese from the first hour with Kuhn there.

 

Ive given the team a lot of stick for being full of wee guys and shitebags, but fair play to Yang, he's our bravest player on the ball.

His decision making was excellent today as well. Hopefully he keeps on improving as he could end up being an important player for the run in.

His ability is slept on. Will have * games and his end product needs to improve but he's by far our most dangerous winger.

 

I said a few weeks ago there's a player there..he's a young man in a new country with a completely different culture not to mention the pressure of playing for Celtic...he's going to be inconsistent and right now that's something we don't need but the whole team has been so inconsistent this season..play him on the right and let him hit the by line or allow Johnston to overlap..I'd personally keep him in the team on the right and let the rest compete for the left.

 

He does ok defensively off the ball too.

 

He's our only winger who is comfortable going on the inside and outside, deserves a run in the team.

 

Very good today. As others have said, he’s the only winger who can glide past players with a bit of skill and speed.

 

Him and Idah were the match winners for us today. Yang has the ability and the confidence to be a Celtic player, just some fine-tuning needed imo. Handy player to have for the run in.
