I don’t want him to have double figure minutes between now and January. Boys hopeless.

I canny believe we didn't just let the deal go through, tbh.

    Has to go in January.

Still can't get that moment out of my head even though we won the * game! Defender is pretty much on his * and pretty much tells Yang to stroll past him by cutting inside onto his left. Instead just charges straight into him because he was itching to use his right.

Mental stuff. Wee man just hasn't got it

Thinking about Tounekti's performance and it's exactly the type that Yang should be looking to put in regularly. He's had a few of them though maybe not for a full 90, but it's what he should be striving for.

Maybe training alongside the boy for the next few month will help him find it, but first step is to put the window shenanigans out his head and focus on his performance. No point sulking now just get on with it.

Your determination for him to be something he isn’t is valiant but ultimately laughable.

He played today in the very same game you seen Tounekti pull out every trick in the book to destroy the full back he was up against, Yang came on and literally put his head down and ran straight into the defender like a * schoolboy. This is Yang, it happens every single time.

Give it up. He's nowhere near good enough to be in our squad.

Except he's put in performances like Tounekti's before, you ignoring them doesn't mean they didn't happen. So it's not every single time.

This place is some laugh. Folk just come to an opinion and dismiss all notion of context or nuance or the possibility that players can change or improve, or a certain tactic or manager can make a certain player click.

So many variables come into it. All you keep saying is he's * with zero acknowledgement of any positive contributions he's made...yet what say is laughable?

Do me a favour mate :giggle1:

No he hasn’t, not even remotely close. The sheep home game was the only game he’s actually shown a good performance sustained over a long period within a game. The rest, utter guff. He isn’t Tounekti or even anything similar.

I disagree. The transfer stuff has set him back but he progressed well last season. I admit it's looking unlikely for him now with us, but he's here till Jan so he may as well get his head into it.

If he does he can be an asset.

Did he not improve last season because of it (along with Rodgers' guidance)?

Nope. He was murder, no end product whatsoever. He’s played over 50 games for Celtic and contributed what exactly??? He has bottled it in every big game we have unfortunately had to play him in.

He played 50 games last season? * me, did not know that!

He had some good performances last season, improved from the previous season and upped his 'end product' massively. He improved whether you want to admit it or not.

He'd have definitely continued that improvement if not for all the transfer * that happens, as it stands it's unlikely though not impossible if he knuckles down.
