Thats true. And also why I asked what more you'd expect from a young player who's 5th choice winger in our squad this season? Those attributes along with steady improvement is surely all you can realistically expect from him. Of course he's not peak Celtic quality at the moment, that's never been stated and also isn't expected of him, yet. The question is can he be and is he showing signs just now that he might be? Jury is out of course but I think calling him * is way off the mark and unfair.

It's actually been the key part of our recruitment for more than the last decade. We bring in players who need developed and then sell them on for a big profit. If these players were at the quality some were expecting of them already we wouldn't be able to afford them. Daizen is literally the perfect example. Look at how much he's improved here. Look at how much Matt O'Riley improved in his time here. It's a deliberate and calculated strategy. Doesn't always work of course but our profits from transfers speak for themselves.
