Jim Ross wrote the following about the forecast for next Sunday's WrestleMania 28 pay-per-view:

"For the pathetic, attention starved, lonely tools who want it to rain at WM28, weather forecast is for 80 degrees & 20% chance of showers."

We're still a week away and the South has experienced some crazy weather lately but right now, The Weather Channel forecasts a high of 84°F and a low of 70°F for the big event. There is a 10% chance of rain listed with the day being mostly cloudy.

Alberto Del Rio was doing media for WWE in Puerto Rico this weekend and said that he is under the impression that he will not be performing at WrestleMania 28.

Del Rio said at one point, he was going to face Randy Orton and most recently plans called for him to be on Team Laurinaitis. Del Rio said he had just been told he’s no longer in the Team Laurinaitis vs. Team Long match.

The odds are *, still quite surprised they allow betting on something that is scripted, if the odds were better it would be very easy to make alot of money.

Cena def. Rock (don't want it to happen obviously, but it's the best thing for business, looking at the bigger picture. Unless Rock plans on sticking around after WrestleMania).

    Undertaker def. HHH.

    Punk def. Jericho

    Kane def. Orton

    Sheamus def. Bryan

    Team Johnny def. Team Teddy

As are soaps, you can bet on them as well.

Your bet would be illegal but who can say they are in the know? The outcome can change during a match never mind before it.

It would be exactly the same as betting on MMA, in fact harder. At least in MMA you pick the best fighter. For wrestling you are second guessing writers, which is impossible.

It is actually quite a clever idea. The odds offer no value and are usually capped with a max bet limit. And it might get wwe fans to open up accounts who otherwise wouldnt. The odds are so skinny they are not going to lose out much and they would most likely get all their money back from new clients even if wrestlemania cost them.

They always have odds up for Wrestlemania. Surprised Undertaker isn't shorter odds though. He's usually about 1/100.

Like Hammer says some matches are almost impossible to predict. Writers and Vince in particular have a tendency to change their minds at the last minute.
