would you like petrov to stay?

Some of you guys must think Petrov is brainless and stupid. He has been living in Scotland for years now, he has probably been on this planet longer than yourselves!

Quotes like, "Does he not * know Celtic are bigger than Porstmouth, get him to *" are a bit immature.

He knows what he wants, otherwise, he wouldnt have asked for a transfer, and as refering to the public, we are NEVER made aware of all the factors, there may be family reasons or other reasons that we arent made aware of.

I like Stilian Petrov, and I am not angry at him for requesting a transfer, as he has been one of the most consistent players we have had in years.

Good luck to him no matter the outcome.

I know Stan since a veeeeeeeery long time , maybe his whole career so far , and that has to be since 8-9 years , from the time he played for CSKA Sofia . And believe it or not i've never heard him MOAN ! NOT in his club NOT in the NT even when he had too many occasions to do it ! It is strange how Stan ( The Man ) Petrov has now suddenly turned into Stan (the moan) Petrov ... There goes the saying that you build your good name all your life and can ruin it for seconds . Although i don't think thats Stan's case . Some people mix his managers words with Stan's and that's how the whole mess is done .

Also take a look at what Dempsey said about why Petrov signed a new contract in january and now suddenly wants to leave :

Also by reading your comments that for you Stan will never be the same as before , than i pray for a quicker solution to the problem - a quick transfer ... As thinking about the TIMS I hope they will get at least 5 mil for him and buy a couple of good players .

 

Maybe you're right mate. Maybe Dempsey is right... but it's all still 'maybe'... I don't know if it was manager who told him to leave or maybe GS... I don't know it mate. The only thing I know is Stan wants to leave... I've repeated it many times here on this forum (especially in the famous argue with BTG) I'm not a kind of person who makes his opinion of suppositions. Yes you can say it's not fair... but I believe the one thing that is fair is that I've never said '* stan' or something like that because I appreciate what Stan has done for the club for this 7 years... I told I wish him all the best because when I told 'for me Stan will never be the same as before' I didn't mean I don't like him anymore...

 

Agree with you Kerr his is our best player and it would be a joke to let him go for less than £7m.

 

i would like him to stay cause hes quality, however he cant be playing in great form if he is truly unhappy at celtic in which case for both his benefit and ours i say let him go, start focusing on getting another strong attackig midfielder.
