Sammy is hot and cold, the end of last season most fans wanted him punted
this season very much similar as last, i ve only see one good game from him
at that was last week against killie
most games he plays he is all over the show other than the box he is so frustrating at times taking wrong options, playing deep, too long on ball
most fans on my bus want him gone...i would swap him with fat boyd any day
we need 2 strikers to fill the empty shirts up front SIMPLE

possibly the worst holder of the no.9 shirt at celtic in living memory. couldn't get a game at man city BEFORE they had all the money. the signing of this type of player illustrates perfectly everything wrong with the club these days. no reasonable offer refused.

Sell him, Mac Donald and give Killen away because will want him. Let's be totally honest and say none of these three are really Celtic class. Samaras doesn't even like being in the penalty box, he might get hurt, he's a real poser. Mac Donald's obviously in the huff since Strachan went, so let's hope Strachan want's him at Boro. As for Killen just givehim a free, get him out the * door as quick as we can. I would have put Sheridan and Hutcheson in front of this donkey. :31:

I would keep him, he has ability but his attitude in games has to change. He looks good for part of the game then he looks lazy and unintrested the rest of it. Maybe needs someone up top with him which is not mcdonald, who just moans at him all game and we all know Sammy is a is a confidence player. McDonald said last year when Jan came on to replace him vs Motherwell i think it was "Thank * your on, i hate playing way him" (something to that effect)

At the moment no, but if we can find a proper replacement, I'd be happy to drive him down south.

No chance for a million pounds. I genuinely think he's just a tiny bit away from being a brilliant player. His finishing needs sharpening up obviously as shown on Thursday and his first touch sometimes lets him down, although that could also be said of a few of our starting X1. Sammy is without question a really frustrating player to watch at times but on his day he is like a poor man's Ibrahimovic. He is still young and has the right size and style to become a complete attacking threat. If he can realise this potential then we will have a real player on our hands. If not then we will need to look for something better.

Even if we were to sell him now we'd be looking for at least £2.5M for IMO.

The sad fact of the matter is the current state of play dictates he's probably about the best we can get. If he turns in performances like he did in Hamburg every week he'd be good for us, he's just frustrating as * with his inconsistency.

I still reckon he's the best impact player from the bench we have in the entire squad which is probably hampering him as well.

Sammy is good player, and he tries his heart out, he WILL come good, if given regular game, this guy never stops running, he is a credit to us, i know sometimes he is off form, but fans use him as scape goat, anyway, isnt it strange how we appear to be building up a little confidence and some signs of improvement now that Brown aint playing, Robson is 6 times the player brown is!

Your talking it. Sammy is by far the best forward we have, he does my head in too at times but he is only 23 will be a great player for us.

He can be a very good player & even when he's not scoring he's been trying very hard lately - he's one of the few players who has responded to Mowbray's criticism in a mature & positive manner.

McDonald thinks he's cracking, so has responded very poorly to being told he's *.

    I'd sell McDonald for 1million, I'd prefer to get 3million - but I doubt we'd get it.

You hate a player that gives his best for Celtic? I could understand if you just didn't rate him because of his ability (or lack thereof in your opinion) but to hate him is utterly ridiculous imo.

He is one of out most in-form players right now. I like his all round play but he needs to improve his poaching and finishing. If he did that he could be a really useful player. Even if we sign one or two good new strikers I would keep him for the bench. Killen isnt fit to lace his boots.

Would sell Samaras, McDonald and Killen.
We need strikers who can get 25, 30 goals a season.
This would help us as the defence of McManus and Caldwell are crap.
Only problem is the board wouldnt give TM the money to buy what we need.
So i think we are stuck with what we have for a couple of years yet.
