    Yes. He's a good manager.

I'm more behind this than I thought I would be tbh.

He's proven he can hold onto our trophies.

Brilliant opportunity to have a good run in Europe. Let's just hope the board don't * him with the funds

Is it not time celtic as a club adobted a style of play, a whole * sytem front to back including scouting and training and everything in bewteen. Its getting tiring changing managers and hearing this new system and new this and new that and blah blah blah only for the next manager to come in and we hear it all again. Should we not be sticking to managers and staff than work on the same ideas.

Has there ever been a manager in history that was contractually obliged to take a polygraph test before every interview and press conference?

We could start a trend with the appointment of the rat… lol

It’s mad that it looks like we’ve been cheated on by the fat Aussie, and yet some people’s first instinct is to run back into the arms of the last one who did the dirt on our club…

It’s like abuse victim behaviour or something. Do some of our support have the football equivalent of Stockholm syndrome?

Definitely but I don't think there are too many managers about that played like Ange

Said ‘yes’ but I was weirdly never that angry about his departure. I basically see them all as blokes doing a job until a more appealing one comes along, regardless of any sound bites.

My biggest concern would be Congerton, rather than Rodgers.

    * NO.

Said the other day that we'll soon find out what lessons the board have learned iver the last 3 years. Appointing Rodgers imo is going backwards which is not what we should be doing.

I will say that it's not the same as appointing Lennon....at least Rodgers has high standards and is extremely professional. But I want someone new and exciting.

But, if we appoint him then what can you do?

Every interview in europe after a loss telling the fans that we are “still learning”.

He would need to work a lot harder this time around to win back a lot of support, I don't think it would work out for both of us this time around as we are wise to his propaganda.

He would be good for the season and we'd defo win the league again but his recruitment is pants and then season 2 would be crap. So as a stop gap...maybe...but we're in a great position at the moment to go and get some better names so we should just go and ask people.

    Footballing side - Yes definitely
Personal issues - No way, but a pragmatic board would ignore this.
Transfer wise - no, this is the biggest question mark.

Would take him before Moyes & Clarke, but would probably rather Knutsen

Rodgers did the ground work though. Not saying he's suddenly become a bad coach but he has to take some responsibility. There are actually some similarities with his time at Celtic. Excellent first few seasons before tailing-off and also the majority of the players brought in under his management never really worked.
