It is certainly possible, Desmond is pretty clued up on these things, wouldn't be a fcking billionaire otherwise.

Main thing is Rodgers is coming and the huns are in absolute meltdown on their forums and the season hasn't even started yet. What more could you ask for

He was offered more money and the opportunity to take over a Leicester team with a lot of young promising players, who he obviously felt he could do well with.

Or he could come out and say he left as the board weren’t prepared to bring in players he was identifying and giving him loans and freebies for the most part, and had absolutely no ambition to progress us further.

 

Exactly, it was a bit of both. Ambition , more money, bigger opportunity, some people need to get over it. It's football. Just don't fall in love with players and or managers.

It's really daft, maangers are different from players, you dont' wait til the transfer window to move you go when the jobs are available, that's just how it works.

I have massive reservations about Rodgers coming in, because of the awful slow paced side to side football we played for chunks of his time here and his terrible recruitment, it just feels like him coming back goes against what we've started to build here and I really worry we'll go backwards, the timing of when he left last time is so far down the list of things to worry about imo.

His first season was easily as good as ange.

Plus the last 6 months hasn't exactly been thrilling has it. I bet we'll see improvement.
