    He hardly made Lawwell pick Lennon, did he?

    Lenny got the job for the same reason as BR ran a mile mid-season (and at least part of the reason we failed the 10): PL’s cheapening of club business.

    Of course the lockdown, plandemic had a massive part to play in it. If this didn't occur, wed have won 10IAR. Whernt we ahead by so many points ahead when lockdown happened.

    Awful apparently. Can't change a game when required, and was actively keeping the same * team on the park against sides at Leicester to "prove a point to the board". Games they ultimately ended up losing. Essentially his ego was a detriment to the team and a massive reason why Leicester will be playing their trade in the Championship next season.

    Have a look at any of the Rodgers threads on Leicester forums, it makes for horrifying reading.

    Well, at that stage of the season with an away trip to Hearts that week, we had to act quickly and tbf to Lennon he managed to secure the treble and then win another one... it was difficult to get rid and maybe would have been a tad harsh on Lennon..

    I guess hindsight is a wonderful thing and we need to look to the future, a future under Rodgers.. but the manner and timing of his exit started a chain of events that eventually cost us the 10..

    Like I say tho, let's look to the future.. :50:

    The league didn't resume after lockdown and the 9IAR was correctly awarded to us. We were 13pts ahead having played a game more..8 games to go..

    Going for the 10 was totally behind closed doors.

    The big managers will always pick the EPL over us. We just have to get used to the idea that if we get 2 or 3 seasons out of them we're doing well.

    Yes, but there was a second lockdown was there now and we were on top by alot where we not? Only a few years ago but my mind blank fs how it panned out or did we start the new season off again badly?

    The board absolutely carry the can for * 10IAR. Appointing Lennon half an hour after the SC final was * stuff. That was a massively backwards step, and it caught up with us.
