Yes but not enough to win, that's down to tactics, player selection and subs, all of which rests with Lenny. We offer no surprises to the opposition in any of these and therefore are predictable, e.g. Dundee Utd last weekend. We win games by graft and endurance. The same players who didn't show up last night will be in again at the weekend. We are 'Predictable FC'.

    Not in the slightest.

Mulgrew and Kayal were outstanding for me.

But maybe enough to draw? It goes without saying if we drew last night we'd be in a much stronger position in the group. Also if he was there it would've given us a better chance to win. If he was there we would have got more of a foothold in midfield, instead of being on the backfoot all the time.

It was his own fault that he was suspended, but I still can't figure out that there seems to be lots of Celtic fans or at least fans on websites, that just don't get that Celtic nearly always play better when Brown is in the team.

Given that so many players were off the pace, I don`t think he would have influenced the game enough to make a difference in the outcome.

no he definitely wouldn't have made a difference last night imo, Scott Brown isn't the answer to our problems. He does his job well, but what we lack desperately is creativity, not industry.

Yes - he could have made a big difference. In Europe this year he has been our best midfielder by a mile - breaking up play, tackling and harassing the opposition, breaking out with the ball, intercepting - alongside Kayal he would've given us a foothold in the midfield, a platform to build on.

I think we missed him terribly, we didn't really have a midfield last night.

Brown does drive the team on, but he doesn't offer much on the creative side of things.

We definitely need an attacking midfielder that can unlock the opposition defence when Commons isn't playing well.

Personally I don't think he would have made much of a difference. As has been pointed out we just didn't keep the ball well enough whenever we got it last night and created nothing going forward and that's not Brown's department. I thought Kayal was exceptional playing Brown's role last night.

Last night the two players who looked most likely to make anything happen were both playing in the centre of defence. Think that's where we where we went wrong last night

In terms of driving the team on and getting stuck in, yes he would of made a difference, still don't think we would of been anything like scoring though.

Nah. What we need is goals, our team doesn't seem to have goals in them at the moment. We are * from set pieces. Pretty sure Samaras' goal from a corner was the first goal weve scored in 192 corners. Our attacking players were pish last night, simple as that.

We did lack balls last night and Brown would have provided that. But I don't think it would have made much difference.

They were up for it, we weren't (barring a select few)

Heh he is. He is a beast in the midfield. they wouldnt have been able to come forward as much as they did. And he is more on target with his shots and assists than kayall.

I don't think so. He lacks the creativity to make a difference. Not his fault. It's just that we have too many of the same kind of player on the team and nobody who can pick out a killer pass or run through defenders.

Nah, it's too easy to say things would have been different if Brown had played. Our problems last night were in the final third and Brown rarely makes any contribution in the final third.

Yes! A massive difference. Brown has matured this season, no longer is he a headless chicken who just runs about kicking people.

Look at his performance in Milan. Him and Mulgrew controlled the game.
