Mexico will murder Croatia unless they pull out one of the more combative displays(second playoff game vs. Iceland would do it). But first, Cameroon on a poor pitch, in horrible climate. Not optimistic.:54:

Not impressed by Brazil overly muchly.....but after the Croatia game, ...it seems they'll push through to the next bit regardless. They should * all over Cameroon, but they're not WC champion material. Plus there's that wee * neybaws.

If the officials hadn't made a total mess of the game against Croatia, and basically gifted Brazil 3 points on opening night, then they would be in a bit of bother. I've not been impressed at all by them.

Video of the RTE soccer panel discussing Neymar is funny.

    'I thought he's been * dreadful. Oh *, we on air?' :56:

Mexico won't murder Croatia at all. If Pletikosa doesn't have a mare Croatia should win, they have far more quality in midfield.

They play for CFC just to reach the EPL. No love for CFC as deluded fans think

Mexico was brilliant, but maybe Brazil is calculating?
They cross with group B, maybe they want to chose whom they will play because it is a mess there.

Fred has to be the worst striker to lead Brazil in a very long time. Whenever I've seen him for Brazil he's looked dreadful.

I thought that as well, Brazil would rather play Netherlands than Spain or Chile I think so they probably werent THAT bothered about not beating Mexico keeping their options open to manufacture a game against them.

He's had a couple of * games and he's nowhere near the level of a Romario or Ronaldo but he is far from dreadful, in relative terms. If you had watched the Confeds Cup you'd have seen that.

Problem Brazil have is the alternative is a Man City reject that couldn't score in a barrel of fannies on loan at Everton.

Wonder if Brazil would do better playing a diamond midfield with 2 false forwards.

    J.Cesar
    D.Alves D.Luiz T.Silva Marcelo
    Gustavo
    Fernandinho Paulinho
    Oscar
    ?????? Neymar

The extra centre-mid would allow more freedom for players to get forward. Other forward could be Willian/Bernard/Hulk. Players with a bit of pace.

That assist for the goal from Perisic was an absolute peach. Most players would of just hit the shot.

I like the way this World Cup is being refereed, not giving fouls for the faintest of touches, unlike the CL where all the prima donnas get their own way and almost ref the game the themselves.
