u arent some * team like england but your group stage isnt so good as it seems -israel is playing with heart every match (they won russia)-and they lost in israel in last 7years just once (croatia)....macedonia have good defense and very good players in forward(pandev..) ...its not easy to play against them and on their field in skopje; "field" they played 0:0 with england and they won croatia 2:0 (win is a win even on that field)..........norway is not good for u just because one reason they didnt went to any championship a long time and they will be like ukraine and england very motivate for going to jar10" and holland is favorit of ur group stage even they arent playing so briliant and they arent better than you but they were in first 10 on fifa ranking.............so dont be like england arrogant and 100% sure ...you must play match after match.....my opinion is norway and scotland going in jar10 holland out........but .......we ll see ......i ll pray to * for match england-croatia (who will go to finals )......and then again in 77min. petrrrrrrriiiccccccccc gooooalll england ooooooouuuuuutttttttt ....dinamo uefa is starting .......we are new champions

Scotland Drawn in group of 5

Scotland were today drawn in Group 9 along with Holland , Norway, FYR Macedonia and Iceland.

Iceland ,Norway and Holland are teams that Scotland are familiar with having competed against all three in recent years.

FYR Macedonia are currently ranked 59th in the FIFA rankings and were recently in England's EURO 2008 qualifying group.

The top team from each group will qualify for the 2010 finals in South Africa , with the best 8 group runners up competing in play offs for the remaining four places.

The 9 group runners up are ranked based on their results. The 8 best play off (home and away) for the remaining 4 places

Since Scotland play less games in the group stage (5 team group) the ranking for the runners up do not include the results against the weakest teams in the other 8 groups (eg Andorra, San Marino etc)

My advice.....read it slowly. And don't sweat, FIFA will make sure the USA are there.

Doesn't help us or hinder us. The results against the lowest ranked team in groups 1 to 8 do not count when placing the runners up. All our results will count since we don't have a minnow in our group.

 

again england, hahahahaha, we(croatia) and ukraine will qualify, football staying home again,hahahaha...

 

Let's talk about something else. Do you think it's fair that Africa has 5 places + host, South Africa, and South America has only 4+I'm feeling lucky. And that Europe has less and less teams on every World Cup. If I recall, there was 14 teams last year in Germany!?

 

and 15 in Japan & Korea, for sure that is not fair, every WC there are 5 or 6 european teams staying home(England) that are much better then 4th and 5th team from Africa or Asia. Even South America isn't what it was once, Brasil, Argentina and after them nobody serious.

I think Scotland will win the group.

We can win all home games and beat , Norway , Iceland and Macedonia away. Not sure about Holland but it wouldnt be the biggest upset if we win.

Great draw i think as Holland isnt the hardest pot 1 team we could of got. People say Greece would of been easy but they are under estimated especially at home.
