    couldn't agree more. Hartley's contribution to the team is not as glamorous as McGeady or Naka's, but without him there would be no base for those attacking midfielders to show what they can do. Hartley has been, in my opinion, the most consistant player along with McDonald and Boruc this season. he reads the game brilliantly and breaks up the play. £2m for Robson and Hartley are bargins. age is the only reason why we should be looking for a centre midfielder.

    as for Brown, he is only 21 ffs! he will come good. i have know doubt he will become one of our best midfielders in our modern history.

    robsons delivery has been miles better than nakas. ad leave the free kicks to naka obviously but robson has a good delivery on him. its more pacy rather than nakas easy-to-punt floated bawwws

    i also agree on RD-67's view of Kevin Nolan. a player i feel is under rated and likes to get about the opposition.
    don't know if me saying that will make him force himself upon me or not?????

    even though on footy focus he said if bolton go down hes stayin with them a coodnt see tht happening. hes be a good captain also

    imo if we give donati another few months, maybe till christmas he will turn around, he was good till we went out of the CL, then dipped. suddenly he is the new scapegoat, it was caldwell, before that hartley, mcgeady before that etc.....
    lets see how the midfield plays next few months before we call for heads
