I think Matthews is quicker than Lustig. :smiley-laughing002: It's a funny old game mate.

Lustig is just a RB master, never seems to be out of position at any time, never seems to get caught too far forward even though he spends a lot of time in the final third. He just patrols that right side like a boss.

I love Matthews and would have him at RB in a second, but a fully fit Lustig is first choice imo.

I would wrap Lustig in cotton wool right now. I know he is back in training but I would severely limit his game time and just make sure he gets a full pre season under his belt. 20 minutes here and there will be fine.

He is vital to our CL qualifiers.

Lustig has to be one of our most reliable players when playing in Europe, along with Virgil and Forster.

Lunacy to want rid of any of them. Losing them to the money men down south is a different matter though.

    Well, you are.

To suggest we should sell one of our most talented players because of a hunch that he might not regain his previous form after a shoulder injury is, frankly, ludicrous.

All I want is a top striker but we've got about 8 of the feckers. Griffiths looks the part, only player in the team who's heard of off the ball movement. Stokes when he wants to be is good enough domestically but not for CL. Atajic, Watt & Balde need proper consistent game time but I doubt will get it here, they'll all be loaned out - hopefully to good teams in good leagues.

Fridjonson - not even kicked a ball yet has he? Dunno * Lenny was thinking tbh, signed him in Jan and immediately said he was one for the present not the future - fast forward 6 months and not even a single sub appearance to his name.

Pukki should be sold if we get anything over 1 mill for him.

    Far too many forwards.

    Quality over quantity.

Watt, Griffiths and Stokes are all more than good enough for domestic football. Watt and Griffiths may be good enough to lead the line in Europe. Stokesy should never start as a lone striker in Europe but maybe a partnership will bring out the best in him as it has in the league.

Baldé's a beast and offers something completely different. I'd be * if we sold him. Pukki's really low on confidence but there's obviously a good player there - bit frustrating.

Fridj just finished playing a season in Iceland, to be fair, and he's still very young. May benefit from a loan if he isn't ready, alongside Atajić.

A proven goalscorer with a bit of pedigree would be nice but it'd mean shipping out at least two, perhaps three or even four, of our forwards on loan or permanent deals.

An additional left-back ( Robertson from Dundee United would be a good shout but don't think it would be a good move for him) a Luboesque playmaker( where you'll find him I don't know) and a goalkeeper if Forster goes.
