    Matt mcglone tweeted the other day that spl were trying to hold back the presentation til after the split.he said Celtic were objecting.i doubt they were as it would guarantee them an extra sell out as st Johnstone will be close to a sell out just now.

    Hmm...I want Motherwell to grab second-place, but at the same time, they need to drop points for us to win at Ibrox. Damnit.

    (1) Celtic have been told that if the title is won at Ibrox then we won't be presented with the SPL trophy against St Johnstone....

     (2) because it's outside the split, a daft & immature excuse, Celtic are currently in talks with the SPL to change this decision!

    Did you know we can also still technically have won it at Ibrox even if Motherwell win their next 2 games, if we win at Ibrox then the week later Motherwell play the huns if thats a draw then we'll have won the League before we play again lol

    Why would you want this to happen? Do you really want our big day being tarnished with a riot between both sets of fans on the pitch?

    And besides, 1980 was different. Hampden was split 50/50, whereas there will only be 8,000 of us there and 40,000 of them. We'd have no chance in a riot this time around :56:

    That's * bollocks from the SPL that. Some of us live far away and have to arrange travel/accomodation etc. A bit of advance notice of what the presentation plans are wouldn't go amiss.

    * disgrace if we don't get the trophy against St Johnstone. Scottish football is already a laughing stock, lets not make it even more so by not giving the champions their trophy.

    I dont think a decision has been made by the sounds of things. Dont think Matt mcglone is right in that were trying to change it. As tony said sky and spl will have an input and then there will be a decision. It better be the 1st of April
