Massively so, I would say. Not insurmountable though.

If we can cram enough quality into the midfield then maybe it won't be too bad. But I don't think McCourt will start, and even if he does he will be at 50%.

Juarez hasn't played well in a while though, went missing against the huns earlier this season, although I do think he deserves a chance, I'm not so sure if that game is the right want to test him out.

says a lot about a dear captain. what a f*cking clown. What is it going to take to strip him of the biggest honour any celtic player/fan could have.

Brown's stats against the huns are pretty negative. We lost more games than we won with him on the team. I can't recall many good games against them either.

Having said that I would love to have every single player available for the derby. Also his form has improved in the past few games and he could have played his part too.

As a few of you will know I have never been Scott Browns biggest fan, however there is no doubt we have missed him when he was out injured and that he has made a difference since returning to the team, so yes, we will miss him at Mordor. Not enough to panic though. We still have better players, we just need to play the right team, boss the midfield and kick miller up the * in the 1st minute. That done, the rest will take care of itself!!!
For now, let's focus on the positive - top of the league, with the chance to extend that lead by winning at the pit!!!
    Bring it on!!!

I've never been his biggest fan but I think we will miss Brown massively. Sometimes football goes out the window for a while in the Old Firm matches and you have to win the physical battle first and Brown is renowned for coming out on top in these situations.

We have a massive squad compared to the huns and an injury to one of our many central midfielders, whether it's our captain our not, will not be a reasonable excuse if we're run over the top of come derby day. We are now missing two of our most influential midfielders in Brown and Ki but we're just going to have to cope.

It looks as if it's going to have to be Kayal and Ledley if we're playing two central midfielders or if we're playing 3, then I would think it would be the same two plus Juarez.

Juarez will be unprepared. Months without a game and then thrown into an Old Firm? No thanks. Same goes for Ljungberg maybe, and perhaps Kapo.

So Scott Brown misses the Old Firm game - what does that mean?

That he won't have the opportunity to dive in needlessly like a * moron, in a non-critical situation, and give the hun ref the excuse to send him off? Exactly like he did tonight?

Brown's absence is a bonus as far as I'm concerned.

Don't see what we can possibly lack in midfield with Brown's absence.

I reckon Kayal can do both dirty work and add creativity, although don't know if he's back for Old Firm.

:31: Ledley controlling the midfield??!! Computer says NO! He is terrible was terrible again tonight. He knew it too as when Murphy was down injured and Beram was getting brought on, Ledley wrongly assumed he was the player going off and he left the pitch! He looked in a right huff too!

Brown is rediculously underrated by the celtic support, Ledley is * * and we will see that against rangers.

this is not the first time for brown, he knows as well as us, what would happen,
the refs are well tuned up on a points tally, well before the game starts and who plays who, easy then for the ref as to what players names to stick in his mind to watch
