    are they true celtic fans???

Most Celtic supporters on here would do the right thing and resign,if they were true Celtic men/women,Peter Grant should take the lead now and do as Joe Jordan did away back, hand in his resignnation, and that is the merit of how you hold this club IF THEY ARE TRUE CLETIC FANS AND CARE ABOUT OUR CLUB

Lucky! He should be resign today i think- if not it's just a mater of time when we lose again. What if Ross County would beat us in the cup? The players are clearly not behind him, and the league has been over for some weeks now. Mowbray should resign or he could damage his future career as a ootball manager.

How does it take until the end of March to come to this realisation?

If he really does indeed feel this way, it does show up his complete inability to look at games with a tactical mind.

He is basically admitting that has tried to force his "way of playing" onto players who can't play that way, in a league in which it cannot be played.

As honest as this is, it does show that he's a dreamer - I really, really like him, he is a fantastic person - but he's not a good manager. Real winners need a bit of nastiness & he doesn't have a nasty bone in his body.

I really wish him well, but hope that he leaves with dignity.

Why didn't the op give the option to vote 'neither'

He won't resign or be sacked.

I really hoped when I woke up this morning that someone would have posted a link 'Mowbray resigns'

Since when were you "Mr Positive" ? If I recall, most of your posts have been negative, slating Celtic and Mowbray, left right 'n' centre...:97:

Ofcourse I'm not going to be hiding my face, I was at the gym this morning with my hoops on. I'm proud to be a Celtic supporter, regardless. I may feel like ramming my face into a pillow and crying, but it doesn't mean that I will.

This would be the best case scenario.A. Any coach brought in a this point would be temporary anyway. Only 10 games left.B. More importantly, we still have a shot at the Scottish Cup. Let's TM walk away on a positive note. Which he deserves, he is a classy guy....

Guys like Rebaz and myself have been slated lately for being over negative towards Mogga...... but I think we have been totally justified now in doing so!

Generally I am not a pessimistic guy, I was a supporter of Strachan, thought his football left a lot to be desired at times, but the players and cash he had at his disposal, our expectations had to be realistic. no matter what folk say, he was successful.

But mogga has been an absolute disaster, and the way Scottish football is being run is a dissaster too, there is not a lot to be positive about the now mate! you just have to look at the game from last night on the box and see for yourself it was like watching a low league English game with the quality of the players, stadium and crowd.

Its a * time the now matey, the minute Mogga walks, I think we can at least start to have something else to look forward too!

Enough is enough ! I was prepared to give him time, but last night was the final straw ! Completely gutless, clueless and * on the pitch. Absolutely clueless and gutless off the pitch ! How can Mowbray, Venus and Grant just sit in a dugout and watch that * ! I would have been jumping up and down, screaming, swearing and kicking the nearest player within reach. Then the substitutions ? * ! McGeady to left back ? The only player who went past a St Mirren player all night, and we push him back, but he says he was chasing the game ? How can he persist with Samaras ? He gives * all ! McGowan did nothing last night, not blaming the young lad but he should have been hooked. Wilson, offers * all going forward, how many times did he play crosses off defenders ? Young Thompson had a night mare, he looked tired last night. N'Guemo was the only one with any fight. Ki looked lost, but then he is in and out of the team like nobodys business. When Celtic used to go 1 down , i used to say " yeah thats your 1 goal start " cos we would always get it back. Now, i fear for us ! Sorry Tony, just go. Sitting on the bench shaking your head with it in your hands is not Celtic manager material. Bring in Lenny till the end of the season !!

Was just on a West brom forum and it seems they had the same complaints.

"Mowbray won't make it as a manager until he learns a bit of humility.
He refuses to change his principals even when it is plain they are'nt working.
We would have stayed up last season if we had dug in in more games instead of playing wide open stuff.
RDM likes to play good football but he also knows that some games like last night when we are a spent force we have to hang on for dear life.

We would have lost last night under Mowbray.

One image that is imprinted in my brain of him is of him and Luke Moore smirking and giggling while we were being hammered at Fulham.

I still get very angry thinking about that.

Lets hope he does'nt show his face at the Hawthorns any time this century"

Nah, you've missed my point mate.

Redbaz, since joining this forum, has slated Celtic at every given chance and for any given reason, not just Mowbray...and all of a sudden he's "Mr Positive", "supporters through n through" etc?..nah, to me, that smells of gloating hun!

I've called you on it once before Redbaz and I'm doing it again.

One of his failings has been this from day one , and that's when you put your marker down.. I've defended his mild mannered approach but can't say it ever sat well with me because it gives the impression he's not bothered or he sees things differently from the fans who demand a bit of passion.. A manager can't start ranting and raving 9 months into the job because it goes against what he's been about and he can't send other guys out to do it for him because then it undermines him.. TM had it easy at Hibs because he built a team that was considered successful , and he had it easy at W Brom because he built a team that won and had fans that bought into his principles.. He never gave himself enough of a platform to build from.. No real leaders and therefore it's come across as having no proper gameplan..
