There was me getting my hopes up there when he started to talk about West Ham by saying "we have received an open letter!"

Yeah well if Tony Mowbray had been sacked as early as some people on here wanted him sacked we'd have never known for certain if he'd have been good or not.

Even if Mowbray gets sacked in the coming days/weeks I still say the way some folk on here have spoken about him has been below the belt.

Mowbray has to go and thats that. clueless, hes jus ruined the team..come the summer - N'Guemo, Keane, Kamara, Braafheid will all be gone..maybe little money 2 spend..we need some stability in squad..a new manager will have 2 work with more or less wat we have..a squad i believe will be more than good enough 2 win SPL..but a new manager will be under pressure 2 qualify for CL or make a run in Europa Lge

Frank , with your feeling that you'd welcome Strachan back but kinda gloating about TM close to being out on his * , I'd like to know when do you think a manager should be cut slack ?

In his first season or in his 4th season.. Should different rules apply when they are really doing a very similar job..

If the manager is making us 12 points worse than the opposition are , do you say well he's been here 9 months and isn't improving us so he's got to go..
In Strachan's case did you say he's been here three years , won three titles so therefore Im backing him despite making us 12 points worse off than the opposition..

Are you of the oppinion that Strachan deserved to be cut the slack based on what he'd done previously but you felt Mowbray wasn't deserving of the same slack , based on not having won 3 titles for us ?

Im not fussed about your dislike for Mowbray , more about how you see it one way for one manager but not for the other..

Fair enough but in future mabye have a reason for supporting someone.

I repeatedly asked people for a reason people (not just you)were supporting TM and that was just ignored.

don't think so....our aim will be to win back the SPL...that will be all that will matter next season for the board and most fans.

    Correct mate.

All this 'he MIGHT turn it around' 'deserves time' 'playing good football' pish, with no reasoning whatsoever. A result like this had been coming if we're honest, we're that inconsistent. We win a few easy home games and people start to think he's turned it around? Fs Falkirk were the better team for long spells 2 weeks ago, a team we drew against twice previously.

ANY biggish game, or game where we have had the chance to put the Shame under a bit of pressure, we've lost. Writing was on the wall long ago. Can't even blame referee decisions anymore, Mugga is that bad they've became pointless.

Now end the misery for everyone Lawwell and get rid this of this clown! :31:

Dont give folk pish just because they have continually supported the manager.

Everyone has different opinions and some were just more patient than others.

Yes..SPL is and always will be Number 1 priority..but with the board havin backed Mowbray with quite a bit of money..we need a return on it..so some success in europe will go some way 2 helpin that

SSN just said Mogga is having a meeting with Lawell at Lennoxtown just now; could this be the end?

it doesnt matter if he walks or is pushed.all that matters is that he can no longer be celtic manager, losing 4-0 to st mirren is just too much.the board need to realise if people are going to renew their season tickets they will do it with a new man in place bcoz if they stick with mowbray then the fans will vote with their feet.i dont think ive felt as low being a celtic fan(on the playing side)we all make mistakes, the celtic board need to realise this is one of them and deal with it.

    He should resign.

Firstly, I beleive he deserves far more respect than a sacking. I think some of the abusive treatment he's received - including from posters on here - is nothing short of disgracefull. Although it hasn't worked for him here, he deserves better.

Secondly, I think his demeanour after last nights defeat said it all. He knows he's lost.
