All my Hibee friends say he's nae good as an out and out striker, always coming deep to receive the ball. Best position is left side or just behind a front man.

didnt play as a out an out striker many times last season still scored 22 goals-----this is the type of game 2 get him in longer he sits on the bench more self doubts set in

Riordan can play just behind the front two and I feel if Riordan played there we could score a lot of Goals against the Budies but I feel GS will not drop McGeady for Riordan or even Miller for him but if Naka was injured I'm sure Strachan would play him!!!

Dont know if I would start him yet, but I believe he will make the grade, he was quiet and looked a wee bit inhibited against Chelsea?

Lets give Miller the chance to get his goal and a bit of confidence first. He's put far more effort in than Magic has and deserves a run in the team. The team's performing badly enough without chopping and changing it two games in. Deeks to come on in the 72nd minute though.

first, did magic steal your missus or something cos you seem to hate him?!! :84:

seriously tho how can u claim that magic doesnt score in the big games so he should be dropped against st mirren? surely if he only scores against the so called smaller clubs this is exactly the kinda game we should be looking at him for a hat-trick!
also are you sure he's never scored against hibs?

But these are the only fit strikers Strachen apart from Beatie who has only just got back to training. If they all get injured. Woops!

Very disappointed to see Derek stay on the bench today. What kind of message is WGS sending to the boy by bringing on Beattie (who's just returned to training) before him.
