well if this is a dissapointing performance for the guy, then he must have huge expectations and be un-happy with anything below 6 goals ....

    1. we took our foot off the gas.

    and

    2. it's still gonna take a few months for mowbray's complete style and attitude of play to kick in properly.

league tables have absolutely no need to be published until around 6-8 games into the season. only then is the table starting to take some sort of shape. anything before then is not gonna give a true reflection of what a table will look like.

I completly understand where sammybob is coming from here. I dont like to see Celtic take their foot off the gas either and I prefer to see them scoring as many goals as possible but it's understanding that tuesday played a factor and also lets not forget Aberdeen away is a tough game! 3 goals is a good return, who did the huns play? Falkirk at home. I'd say when they go to Aberdeen they wont score 3.

Overall I'm delighted with the performance from the Bhoys on saturday. It was a great first performance and sets a great standard for the season ahead.

    * the Huns, dont worry about what they do, as long as we keep winning it doesnt matter what they do.

I'd be very suprised if we need to come down to goal difference to win the league this season. THe huns are even more pish this season and last season they were lucky!! We should walk it really.....we had the 3 pts and the game was won...what mroe do you want. Have to get ready for the CL match so it's natural to ease up to avoid injuries and tiring the players

:56: That's your biggest concern for Tuesday? Is some meaningless 1-game table?

Leave it to this guy to create a thread slating the team after winning 3-1 at Pittodrie.

allways someone not happy no matter what the score is.what happens if we go all out to win by bigger score and some one gets injured or sent off then misses a few league games and it results in us losing some points? but * that lets win 12-0 and sit top of the league after 1 game who cares about the big picture ya *

The thing is, he'd be * about the big picture if we had won 17-0.
I think that's his purpose here -- to make sure there is always somebody moaning.

I would like to revamp 'fritz a grand ol team' as its a bit old and cheesey, needs some fat beats
Because theres a time to go all gung ho and knacker yourself out, creating huge gaps in your defence, and theres a time to keep possession and knacker the other team out instead.. that time is usually when we are about 3 goals up and in cruise control, but it depends on the team you are playing.. Aberdeen got a goal back and started to gain a bit of self belief, In my opinion we did exactly the right thing, just steadied the ship and knocked the ball around to regain composure, If we had continue going all out attck we were simply gifting them possesion all over again when the attack broke down.. Its something strachan did too much of last season, but I think Mowbry has the balance just right

It would worry me if they took the foot off the gas when they were 1 up. But we played excellant in the 1st half and the game was over at half time. Should have been 5 nil at this stage. Game over and just see the game out. Well done celtic. Huns will drop points imo at pittodrie this year. Great result and cant wait to tuesday

I'd only give it a 6 since most of us are reveling in how typical this is for him.

We have a massive game on tuesday and if you were offered a 3-1 win and a good performance before the game you would have taken it. If we didn't have the game on tuesday and our next game was St Johnstone on saturday i might be saying the same as you as we know how often the league comes down to goal difference but it's the 1st game of the season and we got off to a flyer. You can't complain.

Really don't see your point about a wind up.

    There is no wind up.

Every statement I made is correct.

    What is the problem?
