It was a free transfer and therefore a win/win situation. Either he plays well, in which case great, or he is *, so we sign someone else and have a backup left back that cost us nothing.

i think he will be fine in the spl one thing i will give him credit for is his set pieces delivery of the ball is rather special at times, but would worry ever time i see his name on the team sheet for europe

Signed for the spl and will do a job in it. Lets face it he wont be up against the likes of Walcott and co in the spl. Think he will be ok in the spl when we will have most of the ball and doing most of the attacking, he needs to improve for europe though

might be safer if he was moved into the midfield and get a left back to cover him

By * a Spice girl, being attractive, getting his hair cut and being able to do a bit more with a football than bending it. I am not a big beckham fan but the man has a bit more in his armoury than a good free kick.

well tbh hes good back-up and a think for big matches he would be useful on the left of midfield with a good left back, would be quite stable defensively. what do yous think:50:

Teams will always pinpoint your weakness, that was evident in today's game, it became painful to watch at times.......widney have him making the tea never mind left back......
