Why did lenny sign Mulgrew

naylor was and still is ten times the player of mulgrew. why not offer him a new deal and still sign another left back. mulgrew is an embarrasment to a celtic jersey !

 

Because it was time for him to go, he'd had 4 seasons here and it was time to look elsewhere, fair enough he finished playing well compared to his 3rd season and parts of the second, but he was never going to be better or at the same level of his first season. There is better, younger blood about and i think we'll look for a good LB.

IMO, Mulgrew will be alright in the SPL. But not up against a lot of pace or for the biggest games, he needs to stop getting drawn out of position but Braga are better than most SPL teams remember- even if they're not spectacular. He'll be the back-up.

if we don't sign another lb we will lose about 10-15 goals this season because of mulgrew imo

why did he let him go and replace him with this lad, beggers belief

 

I agree he is pish i would rather have had naylor, but surely the young boy who came on in the pre season games wouldve been better its just that we havnt really been paired with any left backs recently have we?

I think the only reason NL signed him was for cover and his set pieces. The problem I believe is that whatever plan or deal NL had for a LB to come in has fallen through.

NL is no idiot and I cannot for the life of me see him signing Mulgrew as a first choice LB, rather he seen a cheap player that could do a job for cover?

 

i think mulgrews one of the worst footballers ive ever seen, * knows why we signed him
