he'll be the back up LB as Lenny will have obviously realised that the guy is fragile and limited for all of his efforts. he'll be reasonable as back up in the SPL though i think, its only 2 games but he struggles against pace as we did tonight as a whole.

Interestingly, although he was pish against a very good right winger again, he STILL offered ten times more than Brown and Maloney in an attacking sense.

That tells you everything you need to know.

just looking at the guy winds me up, don't know if he's got a bad attitude to boot, but its not really his fault that we signed him and played him, can safely say that the parkhead faithful will have their new whipping boy if no new left back is found....

Mulgrew showed signs of improvement from the first leg.

Mind you, he could not have been any worse.

a feel sorry for him and the prospect of him not making the grade here at the 2nd attempt. He is an SPL player and a decent one but we need another LB

Should never have been signed back ok he can take a free kick so * thats all he can do ffs , we need someone that can defend rather than take a * free kick , Ki is outstanding on free kicks and corners sorted , get Mulgrew to * on the bench and get a real left back here i would have Nails back before this clown ,

Deadly serious. He was beaten a good few times and every tackle he made was a foul but he whipped in several excellent deliveries with both feet. Everyone knows he's a pish defender, there's no secret there.

Brown did absolutely nothing in terms of passing forwards and Maloney is just finished....he doesn't even pretend to try and beat his man anymore. Every cross he attempted never got by the first man.

very bad performance never tried to beat his man down the line and shat out of a tackle outside the braga box that had me raging, at least naylor got stuck in and would have naylor back in a flash before mulgrew anyday.

If you thought Mulgrew was bad last night...then you should have seen the first leg...the single worst performance I have ever seen in a Celtic jersey.

Because he is a Tim you give him a chance, even though he has been utter rubbish...

yet you write off Ki, and want to sell him, who has been decent

interesting....(I'm not having a dig btw, I just think its interesting that some people think he should be given a chance because he is a Tim)

    The season hasn't started, but....
Mulgrew has been that bad in pre-season, that we cant afford to give him a chance, we need to get the season off to a good start...maybe give him a chance coming off the bench, when we are winning by a couple of goals....but he has been too bad to start the season as first choice LB
