Marcelo Bielsa has been out of work since he resigned from Marseille in august. Might be a bit out of our league and obviously Ronny is here for the foreseeable future but he'd be a guy is love to see us go for if we were to push the boat out rather than a David Moyes or roy Keane.

This thread is a disgrace, and is typical of our support nowadays.

No class, no honour and no dignity anymore - he is the manager, and there has been not even the slightest hint his job is on a shaky nail.

No thanks - I would hate to be in a position where I am trying my utmost to bring success to some of these people, only to be turned on in a second.

The next manager will be Larsson. It's the easiest option to get the fans behind the club.

That's what the board will go for. I would be a bit scared about that but I'd probably start greeting tears of absolute joy to have him back at Celtic.

It honestly makes no difference, whoever comes next will most likely be another puppet for the board. Nothing will change.

Aye, and the first game he loses it'll be "get that clueless * tae *" and other like-minded expletives.

I would not like to have Larsson as manager of Celtic, I like the legacy he has left as it is.

It would be an absolute disaster.

We have a manager who is going nowhere anytime soon so it's probably best if everyone puts their tampons back in.

Which is why I'd be a bit scared of it mate, he thing the board know though, there's nobody else who would get the fans on side more than Henrik. Which is why I think he'll be nailed on first manager.

That and we sounded him out before Ronny as well.

I would prefer as our next manager for Celtic someone who had decent success as a player who played in defence.
Defenders who managed Celtic have won 33 titles, 26 Scottish Cups and 9 League Cups plus European Cup.
That is 69 trophies won by defenders from the total of 98 trophies won altogether from the League, Scottish Cup, League Cup and European Cup.

Don't get me wrong mate, I'd love to see Larsson in here as manager, with Sutton as assistant, and big Hartson as first-team coach, but whilst Deila is here (regardless of opinion) threads like this do absolutely nothing to show SUPPORT, and I think is a bad characterisation of modern-day Celtic fans (imo, of course).

Lennon had the small matter of Champions League football to take care of as well.

If you look at the results you'll see a large chunk of points dropped by Lennon's Celtic teams in those two seasons were the game either before or after a Champions League tie.

What's the point of supporting someone that you don't feel is doing a satisfactory job at your club though? Should Brady, Macari, Barnes, Venglos and Mowbray all have had support when it was glaringly obvious what they were trying to achieve wasn't good enough?

See the thing is, I'm a Celtic fan, not a Ronny fan. If I think the best way forward for our club is to remove the current manager, that's supporting the team.

Same reason if a players playing pish I want him removed. Doesn't mean you're not supporting the club, infact you're wanting it to be stronger, just means you don't think that particular person is doing anything to take you forward.

Mjallby has had zero offers and has had to take a 3rd division post in Sweden because of it. No thanks..

Stubbsy has done a good job but has never won anything and hasn't been at a decent level at all. He'd crumble under pressure early doors with us, just now..
