Shown that he can't set a team up defensively and we really need a manager that can make us difficult to score against.

Would be very surprised if Keane wasn't here next year, don't particularly like him but you know what you'll get with him, wont stand for any *

Doesn't count for much if he can't properly manage a squad though.

Everyone knows what kind of character he is. We can surely find someone who won't stand for any * but can still coach a side...Lennon is an example of that.

Keane isn't a good manager. People are being drawn in by the name and the name alone.

I think either way he's way above what we can attract unfortunately.

Keane will probably get offered the job but will say he wants to come after the euros and then when we say no he'll turn us down.

its going to be someone involved in the Euro's, so its either an O'Neill or a Keane, my guess would be Michael O'Neill yet another risk

Alex Neil - Norwich look to be going down. He's had little money and is a Coatbridge man

Would take him in a heartbeat, but i think he'll be given a chance to bring Norwich come back up if they do go down.

Your probably right. Was looking at an alternative to the above mentioned as I'm not convinced about Moyes as I think he's as cautious as Delia ! - I reckon Neil could go to a top Premiership club eventually.

Whats Davie Hay doin these days? :icon_mrgreen: Out of that list i'd like Rodgers. But i'd also like a brand new bmw and the chances of either are slim to none. Out of the low budget types we are likely to get i think we could do worse than Hartley. But what i really really want is a new board.

Remember the last manager we appointed as a reward for getting a team relegated from the EPL, look how that turned out, the Celtic job should not be a reward for failure elsewhere

As much as I want Neil Lennon back here, I only want him to come back if the board are going to change their ways. If they are going to try and force a hand picked assistant manager on to him then severely curtail his transfer budget then I don't want him to come back and potentially have his standing with the Celtic support damaged. Tim Time said in another thread that if Lennon comes back he'll probably be instructed to make some sort of apology for leaving when he is reintroduced, * that! The only people who should be apologising for Neil Lennon walking out the door is the board. They did not back Lennon the way they should have. We wouldn't be in this mess now if they had.

That doesn't just apply to Neil Lennon though. Whoever our new manager is, the board have to change the way they are doing things. I hate this hand picking the assistant manager bollocks. If you think enough of a man to hand him the keys to the manager's office then at least give him the dignity of allowing him to choose his own #2.

If Collins is an ego maniac who lost the dressing room at Hibs then imagine the fallout if Keane got the job, would all end in tears. The guy's an * and always will be. Keep him away.

He had his time here & his time at Bolton did nothing for his Kudos. I would look elsewhere.

It becomes a problem though if the management team aren't training the team properly. Personally I think that's what happened and that's why the board tried to get Deila in to train the squad. You can't blame them for doing that, anything else would be irresponsible.
