Don't know if anyone else has suggested it, if not I might get shot down in flames. Assuming Roberto Martinez isn't at Everton at the end of the season i wouldn't mind seeing him in our job.

Of the names listed in the poll I would be happy with either Neil Lennon or Brendan Rodgers.

There's bound to be other managers out there who could do a very good job here but I'm just not familiar with them.

That's a good shout actually. He's spent time in Scotland as well, hasn't he? Played for Motherwell I think.

The problem is the board... And the conditions that they will be looking to put on the new manager.

I'd take Lennon back providing he was given assurances that he was free to spend money on whatever player he likes regardless of age and marketability, sell on etc.

Sure you can have some guidelines and certain philosophies in place but you need to have a bit if leeway.

Marcelo Bielsa should be the first call.

Moyes has failed badly at his last two clubs, but is clearly a good manager and also seems to have some long term vision. Not sure what quality of football we would play though.

Rodgers did well with Liverpool, built a good side. Done less overall than Moyes though and would he come? Seems doubtful.

I would've said Jackie Mac last season but he needs more time, same for Stubbs. Also not the circumstances in which I think Henrik should take over - there's plenty of time for that.

    So * knows!

Agree should be "no", but can see it all unfolding. Big Fan uproar at the remaining home games. Season tickets down. So they go to a legend with European experience.

He's not been doing amazing at Helsingborg. He's not ready and should not be managing us. I'd hate to see him do badly here

I think we all know Henrik is anything but stupid there is no way he would ever take this job if he wasnt 100% confident in his own ability as a manager and i wouldnt think he would ever be the yes man Lawwell would want either

I'd love Bielsa but you know the majority of the old geezers in the support wouldn't have heard of him and would therefore be against him from the start the same way some had it in for Ronny after 3 competitive games. No matter what happened after that I refuse to accept anyone could have made a judgement on the guy that quick and he clearly wasn't given time by some at the start because he wasn't a 'celtic man'. The same would happen with Bielsa if he didn't hit the ground running although I'd still love him here myself.

Bring back Lennon along with Matthews, Ledley, McGeady and Hooper.

Keane has already said he will only come if he gets a budget. I reckon Dermot Desmond might put a bit of cash in to back Keane.

What winds me up is Keane has done nothing to deserve that kind of backing. If cash is going to be freely given to anyone then it should be Lennon who is given the opportunity.

Keane, Moyes, Rogers.. none of them would touch this club with a bargepole unless they're getting far more money than they're due, literally cash the club would need to borrow off of Desmond or go in to debt to free up.

Lennon spent his career here and managed us when we trailed an expensive cardigan team and had a budget within our means. Why the * should extra cash not be given to him?
