If we are going to change I'd like someone in the Ronny mold who's main focus is youth/player development it's the only chance we have to compete in Europe

As much as i like the youth development idea, it should have been done years ago.

Unfortunately now developing young players means letting them go the minute they start producing the goods. The English richmen see us as prey and they'll be waiting to pounce and throw 5-10million at us like it's * all.

I'm all for making vast profits, if wee reap the benefits from them. But we simply don't, we still go out and buy * players for 2.5m. Loan * players and have to make do with it, whilst our squad slowly dwarfs into absolute *.

I don't get this, for me this is the route we go down if we are going to be gash in Europe, feeding the bigger teams with players that can maybe do something with Europe.

What we need is a manager who knows how to beat teams with superior players through tactical ability and is good in the transfer market.

Age of those players are incosequential to me.

    Exactly.

We've tried this 'philosophy' twice now, Deila and Mowbray. The first time it was a disaster, this time it's getting to that stage.

Not even that mate, nothing wrong with it in theory but with England so near it'll not work.

How much help was Patrick Roberts to Fulham's bid to get into the Premiership? By all means, we shoul be trying our hardest to bring through youngsters, it's not the be all and end all though, we won't have our own La Masia.

I'd be happy to bring in Paul Hartley until at least the end of the season. Watching him on the touchline tonight he is a good coach and he gets the most out of the squad he has, which is exactly what we need right now.

Aside from that, he loves the club and is probably hurting as much as any Celtic fan just now. He also knows some of the players quite well and I'm sure he'll get something out of them.

Before anyone slates this suggestion, just remember how successful Lennon was, the experience he had at the time and the circumstances under which he was brought in.

Is anyone still holding on to the ridiculous opinion that we simply can't do any better than Ronny Deila?
