I don't think we had any of this * on here when Lenny was manager.
If Lenny had stayed, it would all have been so different.
I blame Peter Lawwell.

 

As do I but we would have been in the perverse position of people getting used to the CL and Lennon not getting the credit he deserved. People will deny it now in hindsight but Lennon done a brilliant job with both hands tied behind his back. He actually made us a surplus in transfers too. It never sat right with me how Lennons achievements were glossed over at the time and if he stayed on I reckon this would have continued. A lot of us took him for granted and we are dear buying it now.

 

I agree mate. We did take Lenny for granted, good Celtic man too.
But I also blame that * Ambrose for wrecking Lennon's and our Champions League prospects.

 

Well I have to blame Lenny for that one to be honest. He really shouldn't have played him.

What destroyed us as a CL team was selling players and appointing the wrong successor to Lennon. I hate looking back to that time and seeing us making all the wrong moves because we were so close to really stepping up.
