I'll take any guy who can convince zlatan ibrahimovic to join.

Even if its for £100k a week for a year, is still less then what we've spent in the last few years on strikers.

Total * fantasy though, so I'll just go back to having a secret * under my desk at work

    A fortnight.

There are some amount of Managers kicking about just now, see if we end up with Keane we should riot. It would be an embarrassing appointment.

I think it would be a disaster, I hope season ticket holders are holding back on renewing.

So 2 weeks from Sunday we should know who our manager will be. If its Keane I'm done.

Just read an article in a Sunderland based paper with an interview with Lawwell. Basically about him going to take the Sunderland ceo job. Says he's focused on getting a manager in and making sure we're stable then he'll see what happens. Looks like he could he off after all.

We should at least enquire about Sanchez Flores. He'd be a great appointment.

Someone mentioned that the guy on SSB said he had a hunch about Moyes being appointed on Monday.

I don't think it will be Monday but possibly somewhere later in the week.

From the stuff I've heard is that originally DD spoke with Moyes,Rodgers and Michael O'Neil. With O'Neil being involved in the Euro's, he became unavailable as he would be missing valuable time away from the job. Moyes and Rodgers have indicated they want more wages than the club have paid the previous managers. So DD is aware he will have to dig deep for either of them but he's also aware of how important this appointment is for the club(monetary terms as well).

I hold out hope that DD does dig deep and appoint one from Moyes and Rodgers.

We're no really in the *, let's be honest. We're by far and away the best team in Scotland with 5 Titles in a row to prove it.

What we are is poor relations in the Champions League and we need a Manager and the resources to be able to successfully navigate a couple of Qualifiers.

The money and the prestige falls in place naturally after that. As well as the exposure for our players and just about everything else positive we can hope to aim for as a Club.

I think Moyes was hoping his phone would be ringing like * in relation to jobs down south.

If that aint happening then he may feel coming to Celtic is his best option.

Sounds like it's down to who wants to come,Keane is obviously not the best so lets hope Rodgers or Moyes wants the job

    Depends on the bookie
Paddy Power has Keane 2/1 Moyes and Rodgers both 5/2

Where did you see Moyes at 6/4?

We are not in the *, but also not quite as far ahead as you seem to think. Now is the time we need to get the finger out before we do end up in the *.

I'm starting to prefer Moyes over Rodgers....

Has managed an EPL team for longer and for the better part kept them playing good consistent football.

He's managed the biggest club side in the world and surely learnt a * of a lot working with some great players and overpriced divas.

He's managed a continental football team in one of the toughest leagues.

Regardless of success he had with those sides he's more experienced than everyone else put together.

My preference would be 1) Flores 2) Alex Neil (still in a job but relegated) 3) Brendan Rogers. I could probably come to terms with Moyes or Clark.

Keane would be pretty disappointing but if he could recapture his first 1-2 years at Sunderland then obviously we'd be on to a winner. Wonder if he's learned to box clever over the years instead of trying to steamroll every problem?
