Rodgers ex Liverpool or not will be high up on Everton's manager list imo

 

I hope so ,I nearly chucked the laptop out the window when I clicked on oddschecker to see Keane has taken the lead in the betting ,he is now odds on with Rodger out to 2/1
Eveyone has had a go at being favourite though I just hope the wheel doesn't stop with Keane

The bookies and the media are as clueless as us. I'm not taking anything they say as having any substance. Praying it's not Keane though.

I would really love to see Rodgers here - don't know that we can get him but would be truly excited about that.
My fear is we are going to be ultimately disappointed by who we end up with.

 

One Irish bookie has stopped taking bets on Keane but hopefully that's just due to them having talks,they will be talking to a few candidates,maybe/hopefully Keane is on the B list along with NL in case we can't strike a deal with Rodgers or Moyes

 

I think it will be him as well and 12/1 is a very good price.

If I owned a bookies i'd have Keane, Lambert and Lennon all at 2/1 and then big prices the rest as I can't imagine it not being one of them 3.

 

If its not Rodgers I'll be gutted, so I'm getting prepared to be gutted

 

The idea of Moyes doesn't excite me, Rodgers would be great, obviously. Keane would be another Ronny-style gamble. If we go down that route, we have to learn from the failure with Ronny and get him an experienced mentor such as MON or WGS.

Hard to know what the deal is with Lambert, from his record he could be a great manager or a terrible one.

 

this board have a habit of taking too long to make decisions on managers and transfers.its the same every year,we hear the names we want to hear,then we end up with nothing.time for the board to deliver.so its rogers or i am out till this board gtf.

They don't wait, most decent players just don't want to play in the SPFL and wait until we have European football guaranteed before they even think about entertaining us.

The only gamble they have taken that hasn't turned out well (manager wise) is Ronny.

Also Rogers is well out our league - to say it's him or nothing is stupid. We don't have the money to compete for a Former Liverpool manager, sadly.

 

Would they announce the new manager before the last game? not so sure

you are the type of fan the board want.i just dont buy your point that most decent players dont want to play in the spfl.it is more the fact that our wage cap wont allow us to pay for these players.we as fans are just accepting mediocre by letting our board take the * out us.rodgers should not be out our league as he is currently unemployed.

 

I'd much rather Keane than Lambert.
