    It won't be Keane, 100% won't be Keane.

    What's Roy Keanes track record like compared to Owen Coyles?? We should appoint him instead.

    * *, how depressing

    I blame myself for believing it would be big name like Moyes or Rodgers. Getting my hopes up. What an uninspiring appointment - if true.

    I have no real issue with us missing out on Rodgers or Moyes, but Keane is a poor, poor appointment. The only thing he really brings to the table is a reputation that he earned as a player, not a manager.

    If this does happen, it will tell you everything you need to know about how Desmond see's the club - a billionaire's plaything and nothing more.

    Looking at Keane's list of signings while at Sunderland, it genuinely compares poorly with Deila's list here, and that's saying something.

    The worrying thing apart from his management skills and signing record.....is the fact Ireland are at the Euro's and he's going to have next to no time with the squad, and potential signings, plus getting rid of some our bloated squad....with our qualifiers coming up..

    Then there's his backroom staff etc. Why do we always do thing's * up..

    Hopefully this info is wrong..

    Would be happy with a Keane appointment if true.
    He was offered it the last time, but the terms could not have been right.
    He would certainly rally the troops, sell season tickets, and give us a fighting chance of qualifying for the Champions League.

    Moyes is a dour *, didn't want him.

    That right there tells you it's bullshit. We don't do four year deals. Rolling contracts all the way.

    Forget "apart from", you've summed it up in your first line. If this rumour turns out to be true, there should be a condition written into the contract that when RK leaves due to lack of European success and falling attendances, DD must also agree to sell up.

    The only way Keane is even remotely acceptable is if MON returns in some sort of role. Even then it's still fuckng crap
