After Ronny it has to be a name, also money has to be spent, and deadwood has to be got rid of, any lack of ambition shown by the Board will be costly, on and off the field.

Lennon will always be available for the Celtic job, we must aim higher imo

Well Neil's decision to play 1 up front with Jerome paid off when they got promoted so...

Yeah really paying off see if it gets him promotion again next season. Its simple create the team around Hooper like Sheff Wed have and you get goals goals and assists and goals. So back to my point Alex Neal no thanks :38: just my opinion

Surely any decent manager has the ability to adapt their tactics? Playing 1 up front with Norwich in the EPL doesn't mean they would come to Celtic and do the same.

Would take WGS back in an instant, but it won't happen. It will be Lennon, we can't afford the wages of Rodgers/Moyes never mind the transfer budgets they would want.

If a new manager is going to come here and prefer a system that operates with 2 strikers, we're either going to have a lot of our over-bloated midfielders group leaving or playing out of position - I would prefer the former.

If we don't get someone in the door within the next fortnight, it'll probably be Keane after the Euros are done. Now that COULD present a problem with him only having limited time until the first qualifier, but if it IS Keane, then I suspect Desmond will lay the foundations Keane wants in place before he officially takes over - which won't necessarilly be a bad thing

Yeah but still playing 1 up top is obviously the reason they are getting relegated!:87: can't please everyone I suppose.

Not sure if that's "the reason" they're getting relegated. Their defence is pretty poor for starters. I think they've done alright at times this season and Neil is still a young manager so it'll be a learning experience for him.

All I'm saying is that the choice to go with Jerome and let go of Hooper paid off because they went on an amazing run to get them promoted, when no one expected them to considering the position they were in when he took over. So in that regard he got the decision right.

Bored of the speculation now. It's going to be Keane, Lennon or Lambert.

Just wish they would announce it so we can stop going round in circles. Bookies are clueless to it all, new favourite every 6 hours.
