The more I think about it the more I think Lenny is the best man for the job.

id take Neil at this stage but lawell and the board may not want him ?

id like someone with experience from doing well on the continent spain, belgium, holland, austria, czech there must be some fairly decent managers floating about that we could get for a £1m a season

I have always said Moyes is not the man for us, it would be a terribly underwhelming and dangerous appointment for us.

Think we need to stop all this masturbating over Moyes, Rodgers, Keane and Mon too.

More likely to be Clarke or Alex Neil.

I'd take Clarke or Neil to be honest if we had to settle for them if we couldn't get Rodgers.

Yeah, I don't think many were "masturbating" over the thought of Keane as our next manger bar you and a minority of Celtic fans

Those two seem way more likely than Rodgers + Moyes, unfortunately

    the expectations are too high

we cant afford £5m a year, £3m a year manager signings and it would be kinda pointless anyway cause the bottleneck would be the transfer kitty and that's what would * of a £5m or £3m a year coach, that and the lack of good enough talent.

i'd like to bring in hartley and some other ex celtic players with a view to them watching and learning from our 1st team manager and eventually bring them through, when our manager inevitably gets picked up a by a stronger league

Obviously he'd be better than Lenny, Coyle, Keane etc. But I just don't really rate him as a manager. It's true there isn't much to choose from though, I mean I'd settle for him.

I'm so out of touch with English football it's unreal. Not interested in going backwards or sideyways. So, from the 3 options left it would have to be Moyes for me. Because I really don't know much about Rodgers or Malky.

Malky definite "No" because of all the "Cardiff Luggage" he has with him. Would never be a dull moment in Glasgow. Rodgers - what folks tend to forget is that his style of play is not dissimilar to Ronny's but with more variation in formation. 2 good years at Swansea - 1 in Championship - couple of good domestic years at Liverpool with Gerrard & Suarez in the team. Nothing of note in Europe. Moyes like listening to the Guy, but living off his Everton reputation.

Really don't know who I want except that whoever it is has to
    1. Get us into CL proper.
    2. Deal with rumoured prima donnas/gang of 3,4 or however many and clear out the excess.
    3. Stamp his authority and personality on the Club.
    4. Make Celtic good/entertaining to watch again

The thing with Rodgers is, he isn't pragmatic.

People say that they were a baw hair away from winning the league, and that Gerrard's slip cost them - but that wasn't the case.

If Rodgers set his team up properly and showed a bit of nous they were champions. All they needed was a draw against Chelsea and beat Palace in their next game. The league was there for the taking. Instead, he let his own ego get the better of him. Decided to go gung ho against a Mourinho side and look what happened. Not to mention the Palace fiasco where they were comfortably winning and again, went all out when it wasn't necessary.

I was thinking today that Sean Dyche might be an interesting option. I'm not sure if he'd be out of our range or not now that Burnley have been promoted. I'd certainly rather have Dyche than some of the names being flung about - Steve Clarke, Alex Neil, Malky Mackay etc.

Getting a man that could deliver all 4 points really slims down the list to frightening levels, if it leaves any names on it at all :(
