It really depends on if the board/DD decide they are going to invest. If I expect the manager to come from the lower list that I can't be disappointed as is usually the case. If on the other hand they announce Rodgers then I have a reason to go out on the *.

Investment is the key to EVERYTHING here.

If we see Rodgers or Moyes it will be a clear cut sign that the board have realised the past years of austerity at the club haven't protected us from a decline but have done major damage in terms of a loss of european revenue and bums on seats.

If we see the likes of Lennon or keane, it clearly states that Desmond seeks to make another yes man appointment and continue a policy of limited investment and low end ambition outside our domestic sphere.

    In simple terms:

Rodgers/Moyes: We have to spend money to make money
    Lennon/Keane: Quick, hide the money.

Lawwell claimed that without "Rangers" we were losing over 10M a year in revenue. If we dont see a summer spend of at least 15-20M on the squad then he should be made to explain himself. Where the * is our money going? safe Standing?

There was never going to be anything being made public before the title is won. I'd imaging we'll see more solid rumours once we get the Aberdeen game out the way.

I would love Keane to come here and make a total success of it.
And then he could stuff it up the smug jumpers of some of them on here, who think they have Keane down to a T.

What is this desire based on? He obviously isn't a good manager? Do you like his hair or something?

I think it is pretty obvious Roy Keane is a good manager as he took Sunderland from the bottom of the championship to the Premier League, no questioning that.Keane is also doing a good job with Ireland, and learning under O'Neil's tutelage.

He is on an upwards trajectory.

Keane should be no where near the Celtic job.

Keane isn't the guy we should be chasing. Ego-maniac with a reputation for throwing in the towel when the going gets tough. No thanks.

Rodgers and Moyes as first choice, if none of then come just get Lennon.

There is absolutely no evidence to suggest Roy Keane, a Celtic man, who would walk barefoot from London to Glasgow to get the Celtic job, would ever contemplate walking away from the job.
