Would probably be after the Euros.

He is going to want to get back into club football eventually and realistically he probably won't be getting NI to the WC in 2018, so he would be as well to leave on a high.

well every team needs/wants a manager who will get them to punch above their weight:smiley-laughing002:, qualifying for the champions league isnt overachieving by a longshot with our budget if that is what this is suggesting

He has proven with both Northern Ireland and Shamrock Rovers that he can get results against far superior teams - at European level and at International level. Getting Shamrock Rovers to the Europa League would be similar to getting Falkirk there, a phenomenal achievement.

I don't think NI will get the tankings people expect them to at the Euros (I hope they do though), and he's someone who I think deserves a shot at a club with some money. I think he'd have the wherewithal to set us up well in Europe, qualify for the CL and possibly get a few big results. I never said qualifying for the CL would be an over achievement, it's difficult to do but we should be doing it more times than not.

It's not the same level of football but he consistently won titles with Shamrock Rovers as well so he has had a taste of winning.

Ideally I would want a Moyes or Rodgers, I just don't think they'll come here with the type of budget we have to offer them, not with what they're used to.

Garry Monk is a great shout, young, hungry and won't stand for any *. Can't be any worse than the imposter we have at the moment.

I don't like O'Neil at all. Bit of a Hun * licker and * licker in general. Was slevering to get Broony sent off for getting kicked on the coupon as well as Virgil and another Celtic player at Tannadice . Hasn't shown anything to suggest he could handle the day to day demands at a club like this..

Brendan Rogers or David Moyes but they won't take the job because our Board won't give them the budget that they will want.

Moyes, Rodgers or Monk would be tremendous but don't see it.

Stubbs or Hartley probably, would love Ghod to come back and be a success

There is no one better out there who will come here. I'd be open to Michael O'Neil but that won't happen to at least the summer I would think. If that was the case I'd rather give RD another shot rather than throw a new manager in weeks before qualifiers.

Not sure about that, I know he said when he took over at Rovers that he looked up to Strachan as a manager, and that would have been just after Strachan managed us.

It's more a gut feeling I have that he would do well here. Think he'd jump at the chance to manage Celtic as well. If we can attract a bigger name then fair enough but I'm just not sure we could at the moment. I think O'Neill will get a decent job in England at the very least after these Euros, maybe in the Championship.

Not sure about your last part, it would definitely be his biggest job in football by a long way but at 46 he has pulled off what I would consider two miraculous qualifications. People saying NI had an easy group, fair enough it wasn't the most difficult but it's NI were talking about, their star player is Kyle Lafferty.

The thought of Larsson coming back gives me a semi but I want him to come when we are in a position where we can spend a bit more money than we do now. So he can win the CL. Preferably that would coincide with 10 in a row as well.

Larsson is 100 percent not the answer.

You'd be as well sticking with Deila if that's the option.

The timing is wrong for starter's anyway. He'll be working and planning everyday towards the Euro's this summer while we'd need someone in shaking up the * we've got left and trying to get us set for our own European qualifiers. Any other time and he walks for it..

I'm not gonna be too argumentative over over this as it really is a big achievement for what they've done, but.....the group really was * easy and they have some quite good player's. Steven Davis strolls in to the Hungry/ Finland/ Romania side's with ease and all those side's are in decline, whilst the Northern Ireland side is decent and very much a team..

This. Would love Rodgers but no chance he comes here with the club in it's current state and budget constraints. All I know is Deila can't be given another crack at Europe and another transfer window. The squad is just getting worse and worse.
