Its pretty shocking O'Neill pretty much had no money to spend after 2002 tbh. We were lucky we still had larsson and an on-form Thompson/Sutton/Hartson tbh and players like Petrov and Balde, Valgaeren and Mjallby.

Still a weak squad overall but, well - thin squad.

Also had Gravesen and Roy Keane who were handed wages bigger than Larsson's.

Roy Keane was very short term. Graveson's was a tragedy.

However the wage bill was lower - with more members of staff all in, remember I put up the stats, from a shareholder from KDS?

I still stand by WGS - think he was great. :icon_mrgreen:

He was an 18 month deal at 34 were he voluntarily retired 6 months in.

I'm not bashing WGS at, he was amazing for us, just think that point gets stressed a bit too much.

I came to Celtic by a personal admiration of Scotland. But Ireland is number 4
    behind France, Scotland and Ukraine

    Agreed.

I'd put Ukraine behind France too. Even though they've got * all to do with this thread.

Actually, the reason I support Ukraine is that my mother is ukrainian.
After I discovered that my father got irish blood from a deep deep deep generation but he's redhead, so... :celt_2:
