Is Kennedy being promoted from the youths not even being considered? Or Billy Stark?

if he was considered, they obviously think that he isn't good enough.

would be interesting to see how Di Canio would do. Politics aside I respect him, he's very straight forward, unrepentant and determined. He demands respect.

    I like that.

Would love having Di Canio in charge. As someone else said - he would have the team running through brick walls.

Surely people are having a * laugh wanting Di Canio?

He is a loose cannon who would implode within 6 months in glasgow.

The only good thing to come out of it would be a few reporters getting thumped.

Why are people wanting Michael Laudrup? Are we forgetting who his brother played for.

Should be a Celtic man that gets it. For that, he is not.

Seems to be a roundly unpopular candidate if fan forums are anything to go by. Suspect Lawwell doesn't read them much though :54:

Plays fantastic flowing football has experience in Europe not only as a player but Europa league.
There has been numerous players and managers with connections to rangers over our history so keep trolling. Or keep being ignorant.

Why? surely we should get the best man for the position.. a man that has the vision, ability (and the funds?) to take us forward. I just want someone who will have us playing fast flowing attacking football.

As long as the man who 'gets it' is willing to stick to the footballing ethos of Celtic FC then i care not a jot whether he has past connections with the club. I don't think Wim Jansen had any connection with Celtic when he came to turn things around. Martin O'Neill never played or worked with our club prior to his arrival and he also managed to move things up a level.

Celtic as a club should not have such a parochial view when looking to recruit the best option available in the current circumstances.

Larsson was odds on at one stage so hopefully it's just some unfounded comment somewhere that's sparked the flood of bets on Coyle
