Would be really worried if it is Larsson. It could be great, but it's unbearable to think about it being anything less, I love that man.

 

I'd say the board would go for Larsson as it would be a smart economical move, certainly in the short-term. They'd be rubbing their hands at the prospect of ticket sales and merchandise on the back of Henrik coming back.

Personally I think it would be very premature, and a lot of people are letting their hearts rule their heads over this. He hasn't proven himself as a manager and if it went * up, it would take some of the shine from his legendary status at the club.

Malky Mackay is my preferred choice.

I'm not sure on larsson. On one hand I don't think he's ready but on thd other I'd give an arm and a leg to see the guy at Celtic park again and would be extremely Excited at the prospect of him leading us to multiple titles.

Personally I think its the best time to appoint Henrik as manager, as said Lenny never had managerial credentials so why and how can we be judgemental on the kings appointment ?

He would bring us the 4in a row that's for sure then no doubt the orcs will be back the following year making the league more appealing.

Yes yes we would all love that kinda manager that's gonna do this and that in Europe but being realistic apart from a league cup how far exactly do you expect any Celtic manager for the future to bring anymore ?

Agreed. Cheap option, ex celtic man, got some spfl experience, won't care about transfer funds and tries to play attacking football. It just makes sense.

Jackie was 11/1 10/1 8/1 6/1 and hills even had him down at 4/1 as I said odds mean * all I checked all bookies they all had different ideas of who where faves and why prices they where mostly the same names

I don't think Larsson is ready for Celtic but i'm thinking the club would go with it as it gets them season tickets etc.

 

Not saying I would be dissapointed though I did think lennon would have left next season anyway and he would have made sure Jackie was in place and worked a bit with him so he could come in right away and get his job up and running so if that time is now so be it

 

Chris Sutton or John Kennedy for me.

 

I know he has gone but Lennon ruled John out for his assistant stating that he wasn't ready and that he was happy working with the youths for the time being. I agree with that and don't think he will be promoted yet.

As for Sutton don't get me wrong, he's an idol of mine, but I wouldn't be happy with such an inexperienced dugout. Not in the slightest.
