    "the celtic way"

That's the kind of * that's holding us back from European progression.

The path leading to the stadium. We need a taxi driver or a road sweeper from the council.

I get what you are saying but our game is not that *, if it's that * then why did you watch it? Let's face it we are not going to go to the level of others but knowing the game will help him settle with the squad we currently have.

Or he could come in rip the side up and set us back a good few years. Do you not think it's important he gets to know the game in Scotland how teams play us and to add to that out team and players. I think it would be a bonus IMO

He credits his time in the SPL for his managerial success yet a so called successful SPL manager is a flop in England. Should Alan Hutton be used as yardstick to measure the ability of SPL players or should each be merited on there own ability?

All season, people have been moaning about the dour style of football. We look to appoint a foreign manager who plays attacking football, but he's written off as he's not familiar with the 'Celtic' way. What do people want?

Sure, somebody who has been previously involved in the club might be preferred, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't look at options that have never been here. It's a crazy mindset to have.

Why do you feel so down about the manager situation, mate? In an ideal world, what would you like to see?

And how did you come to this conclusion?

May I ask what your understanding of playing football the "Celtic Way" is, and it is holding us back from being progressive?

I thought we played good football this season mate to be honest, but that's besides the point.

I think most people are happy with this appointment (if it happens). Some people are very narrow minded though. We need a hardy * in charge who won;t take any * and who loves Celtic. Someone who knows what the club means to the fans.

It's all a load of *. We need a good football manager.

Mate, I know the kind of * up stuff I post in the GM section, I'm not going to accuse anyone of making me look sane! Nugget would be too mild to describe me. :celt_2:

Considering playing the "Celtic Way" is about fearless, attractive, attacking and entertaining football, then id say that some people are fairly confused.......

When attendances dropped off, the quality of football was blamed by some.

I thought we played nice football most of the time. but as you say, it's beside the point.

The poster who used the term "the Celtic way" was, I believe, meaning what others might call "Celtic minded"

He said that he does not want Deila because we should go for Mackay as he knows 'the celtic way'.

That kind of narrow mindedness would hold us back tremendously if implemented in the running of the club.
