Entirely speculative. Everything you have said is hypothetical.

Some guy. Great coach and also revolutionised the computer lol. A man of many talents.

To be honest he sounds like the sort of coach I like. I think we should bring on the young players. We have had a unique opportunity to do this over the last few seasons without any threat to the title but we didnt do it. I found that very disappointing. I know he seems a bit mad but Tony Watt should have been brought on this season IMO.

It is compared to the £60 million he brought in.

Obviously I don't know Deila's knowledge but I'm speculating on the fact that Lennon brought on Izzy and Virgil who he had personally seen play. Mulgrew and Wilson were former teammates, Stokes & Ledley were oppenents. Majstorovic, Hooper, Matthews,Forster and Lustig all recommended by staff/friends. Deila, on the other hand, is an unknown.

It would be crazy not to allow the guy to spend about £6m if he comes in. He has to be allowed to make his own mark on the playing squad.

Solskjaer won the league twice there at a canter, couldn't organise a defence at Cardiff.

It's been a long time since a Norwegian team did anything in Europe, we have had 2 Uefa cup finalist and 4 last 16 appearances.

I think that a lot of this is down to the chief scout rather than the manager. A manager doesnt have the time to scour Europe and beyond for affordable obscure talent. As long as we keep John Park our signing policy will probably remain similar. I think he was an unsung hero in our massive improvement of squad over the last few years.

What if he doesn't get on with John Park?? It's insane to put any condition on a manager that John Park will identify the players.

Bar a handful of signings, the majority of players have been identified by John Park (or under his orders to other scouts).

Seriously, how muck money did we ACTUALLY need to spend last season? We boughtthree strikers that cost over £1m each (totalling approx £5m+), splashed out the highest amount for a defender since Joos Valgaeren as well to add to an already good enough squad, as well as a midfielder for just under £3m.

they might not ALL have worked out, but we spent plenty of cash......

You are dealing entirely in conjecture. You realise that Park was here before Lennon, so what if Lennon and Park hadn't go on? No Izzy, Watt, Lustig, Wanyama etc.

You are making up hypothetical situations that may never come to fruition.

Could've went all in and paid £8 million on a striker and not came 4th in the GS.

Aye, spunking out £8m on one player would most definitely have got us into 3rd place like :56::56::56::rolleyes:
